One of the examples I can name for an underrated novel is Mga Ibong Magdaragit by Amado V. Hernandez, is literally an indirect sequel for El Filibusterismo, and the fact it also references Simoun's treasures and the main character (Mando Plaridel i think?) retrieves it? its pretty interesting (ik those r one of a more common ones even in a much wider panitikan space but its actually really interesting, I cant find another word other than interesting, sorri.)
