Hi!!! I read your recent announcement and while idk much about tadc, ngl it's kinda said of bad dandy's world fell off recently. The game is mid and qwels situation does not make it any better (I feel bad for other people that worked on it imo)
I just wanna ask, is it ok to still like the game and be a part of the fandom? Like i don't support qwel or r*x or anyone, I just enjoy the characters and story
Also if you're leaving dw, you could check out other delverlikes like Toon Universe!! If that's not your thing, I recommend animal hospital, it's rlly cool (β ββ α΄β ββ βΏβ )
The answer is a bit of a stretch, but in my opinion there's nothing wrong with liking the game and still being in the fandom. You enjoy the characters/story, and that's ok. You shouldn't feel ashamed of enjoying something (or no longer enjoying something) that comforts you which has been ruined by others. As long as you don't support Qwelver (that also being through financial means) and stay aware of her actions, you can still be into Dandy's World.
Also, I have checked out other delverlikes- so far I like FUNHOUSE, mostly because it's uncanny horror appeals to me (I really like vibingleaf's content and I aspire to make something similar). I actually have my own conceptual delverlike (it's existence is limited to my notes app), maybe if I get enough experience on how to make one + time I can show you guys.
Hello! I have been holding off on this for quite some time (no particular reason I just did) but I also preferred to post this before anything else so I'm just gonna get it out of my system.
ββSo the TADC finale has been released a couple of days ago. I did not make this post to express my opinions on it so I'm gonna keep that to myself. However! Now that its out, I can finally say that I'm gonna be leaving the community. The reason is a bit of a stretch, but it's mostly due to harassment and bullying from the fandom, and all the problems coming from those behind the show (mainly rasicm and misogynism). Now, I get that every fandom has it's bad side (I mean I used to be in the Danganronpa fandom back in 2020) but the TADC fandom was just WAY too much, and I'm gonna be honest it feels like the toxicity is rubbing off on me (especially during the wait for the finale release.)β
From my personal issues with the show, to the mess of a fandom, I just don't really feel comfortable here anymore. Now I'm not saying that my whole experience with TADC was bad, I've seen a lot of cool artists and met really nice people here (ily Bunnydoll community) but I don't think it's good for my mental health to stay. I'm not going to private/delete my TADC posts/fanart, but I am turning off reblogs.ββ
Also, in regards to the situation involving Dandy's World (see this post I reblogged for more information), I am asking to please support the victims and make sure any new information you get about thisΒ comes from those associated and no one else to prevent misinformation.
ββI'll be putting my DW content into a pause until further notice (someone else takes over and/or a proper response is stated by Qwelver). If neither of those work out, I'll make a summary on the Replacemains AU story, post it and move on to other media that I like (Just to be clear I am still in the community, I'm just not posting Dandy's World for a temporary amount of time).ββ
First, I want to apologize to you, I should have told you about this when I first found out, but my own nerves and processing have gotten in the way of that. This isnβt a post I want to make, but I know a lot of you come here for your dandyβs world news, and itβs my responsibility to keep you updated on things like this.
There is sufficient evidence Qwel was aware of Rox being a groomer as easily as 2021, and the both of them have been grooming and manipulating their staff.

As of yet, Qwel has yet to make a statement or even acknowledge whatβs happening, but considering she has a habit of trying to ignore hints that reflect badly on her, Iβm sure her suddenly going MIA isnβt a coincidence.
I know itβs a lot to process and Iβm sure you feel powerless, but letβs start with what we can do.
1. Start putting pressure on Qwel. The comments for the YouTube channel and TikTok comments are still open. Let her know that she needs to acknowledge whatβs happening. That being said, no insults, no threats, nothing like that. Not because she needs to be treated gently, but I know people like her, and behavior like that is only going to make her feel like what sheβs doing now is justified
2. No financially supporting the game. That means no buying game passes, no merch, no ichor. If she wonβt act like she cares about the fanbase, then we gotta start hitting her where it hurts, her wallet.
3. Do what you can to support the victims. Obviously you shouldnβt push yourself beyond what you can handle, but believe what they say, spread the word around. It takes a lot of courage to speak out, and we need to show up when they do.
From what I can tell the victims, at least Joji, are fine with people still engaging with the community and making fan content, as long as it doesnβt financially support Qwel. I donβt know what that means for you, I canβt decide that for you, and I donβt want to. But I canβt in good conscience pretend nothing is happening and not at least try to use whatever power I have to sway folks away from buying things in game.
What does that mean for this blog? I donβt know. Iβd like to keep updating the board, but I worry at this point it would be more of an advertisement for the game itself. You guys might me see more of my general nonsense and of my plush, but if anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know.
Finally, and this is very important. A lot of people are going to tell you otherwise a lot, and itβs going to feel true, but youβre not a bad person for having complex thoughts on a complex problem. Youβre not a bad person for worrying about whatβs going to happen to something you emotionally connected to. Youβre not a bad person for being afraid of losing something that means a lot to you.

I try not to fall into the "I never liked their work anyway" ditch when an artist/creator reveals themself to be a terrible person

βSo about my commissions: I'm gonna have to close it early and permanently. I was originally going to post this saying I was closing it for a little while since I have school finals coming up, buuut something happened and I'm forced to switch up.β
Basically, Roblox's pathetic excuse of an AI system has finally caught up to me. When the age verification gimmick was released I decided to not do it, until they straight up said that I can't play any age restricted experience until I verify. I tried every trick in the book; 3D models, dolls, my thumb with a smiley face on it, etc etc. Nothing worked, and ain't NO WAY am I ever going to use my actual face or any other real person's face. βSo yeah, I can't use Roblox.
Personally I'm not really bothered, since I barely play it (I made a whole account JUST so that I could play Dandy's World and nothing else) Im a bit upset about not being able to play DW again (kiss goodbye the new Carebear skins but I'm gonna be honest they don't really matter to me) but oh well. I'm not surprised about this, considering Roblox's current state lol.β
But since my commissions cost robux, I'm gonna have to put it to a close since I don't see why I should keep it up. I know I can just do commissions for real money (which is what I originally intended I'll admit) but I don't think I'm ready for that (nor do I know how to do that as a minor). Probably when I hit the eighteens and up

Also like I said earlier, I have finals coming up! I'm getting closer and closer to graduating (not this year) and I'm kinda nervous lol- wish me luck :Dβ
So I just logged in Roblox to try getting past the AI system again and... they're letting me play Dandy's World??? But they still aren't letting me play other games (probably due to age restriction). The Roblox system makes no sense. (what being unchecked does to a mf)
Also carebears update today. I was originally gonna finish this post off saying I had one day to complete this before I locked in on studying but uh.
Surprisingly the quests were... actually pretty easy??? And I managed to complete them in a few rounds as Ginger, and ya'll know just how much I hate being a healer. Or maybe just got lucky and found decent (decent, not great) teammates on matchmaking, idk.
