Antis liking South Park is so strange to me

South Park, the same cartoon that is known for being viscerally anti censorship at its core, the show where no subject is too touchy to not joke about, the show that has multiple episodes that put those damn kids in sexual situation (sometimes with adults), the show that depicts childhood neglect and straight up abuse as a funny thing, the show with arguable the most gross out humor in adult animation, yet also covers incredibly heavy topics that are handled well a lot of the time (not all the time) if you ignore the jokes? That South Park??? The anti censorship pro harassment crowd likes that show? It has everything they claim to be against in fiction, but they defend it with “chill it’s just a joke!”, even though jokes made by small artists and writers are seen as horrible and awful and distasteful. They harass people for coving heavy topics in their work in a way they don’t personally like, all while still watching South Park? Something seems fishy here
