Basically, Magenta Gem likes to humor Shadow Milk every so often and participate in his little plays he puts on, which sometimes are puppet shows and other times are just actual theater performances.

And this one time, right, their characters are supposed to be lovers. This is after they have already started dating, but they haven't really done anything yet except like hold hands and stuff yk. But there's a scene where their characters kiss. And so they do without even giving it a second thought.
