This is an argument I have seen far too much on tumblr. People say it less now, mostly because they are posers who only started to care about Freddie once they thought she died. Had they actually paid attention to the show, they’d have known there was no way she could possibly be dead. It didn’t change the fact that everyone loves you when you are dying and so a lot of people who originally hated her (Laura) started to post how GREAT she was once she had her little “incident”, but I digress.

There are way too many people in the fandom who think Freddie is WORSE than Hannibal. There is no reason for this. This also isn’t a matter of opinion. This is a matter of facts vs lies. How anyone can look at the situation and say that Freddie is WORSE than Hannibal is beyond me, but lets look at this logically.

No one is trying to claim that Freddie Lounds is a saint. She’s clearly got questionable motives and morals. However, she hasn’t killed anyone nor has she willingly engaged in cannibalism. Though it can be argued that the salad dressing she ate was made from people, she still consumed less human meat than anyone else who ate dinner with Hannibal. In ways of being a “good” person, well she isn’t. The thing is, she’s very far away from being as horrible as Hannibal Lecter.
