These may change over time, of course, and I will hopefully remember to update when I do. Right now, my main fandom is Turn, and my current longform fic is I get tired and I get sick and then I lose the strength to leave, a modern Caleb/Ben AU.

Unsurprisingly, I've defaulted to Ben with this one. I wanted to explore what would have happened if Samuel had survived and been traded back as a trap for Ben; but his time on the Jersey had changed him to the point of being unrecognisable. this piece explores Ben's realisation that the brother he had always looked up to as infinitely strong and capable was broken.

For this one, I wanted to choose something small enough to be contained in a oneshot, so I wrote this piece about what would've happened in s3e3 if Caleb had been sent to kill Worthington, and Ben had been the one to organise the ambush against Simcoe (don't ask me about the specifics of how that happened in the AU, I aim for about 20% accuracy at most).

This focuses on how they are both far more suited to do the tasks in this AU as opposed to in canon, but it turns out a lot worse on both sides.

Rocky Point had grown into quite the little hamlet since Ben had been there last— if he remembered correctly, it had been when he was barely past his twelfth birthday. Caleb, seventeen or so at the time, had somehow requisitioned a small fishing boat and was taking Sam over the sound to fraternise with a girl he was attempting to court at the time.

Being new to the fandom, I can't speak on underrated episodes in trends, but I haven't seen as much talk about s4e4 'Nightmare' as I have thought about it myself. The tender and sombre moments between the spy ring contrasted with the mutiny are just beautiful. This piece follows a conversation with @youknowwhoiamassbutt about why on Earth Caleb decided to ride out of camp.

"He needed to warn Townsend. Or— or maybe he was just trying to get some air, get away from the stench of death that stuck to the medical tent, he couldn't— He didn't know— He didn't know anything! Was he riding away from the camp, or riding somewhere? Was God watching him? Was God there?"

Ben had never actually been to the Culper Arts Collective's studio, but Anna had sent him constant updates when she'd first bought the place a couple of years back; all the way from buying the unit and revamping it from when it had used to be a pizza place. That was how he'd viewed the lives of his friends and his home for so long. From a distance. Detached. Parts of him worried that he was to be forever divorced from the goings-on of his hometown, even if present; and maybe his body waking him up that late had been a warning in the direction. He didn't fit in here any more.

In the five years Ben spent in Virginia, working for John Andre, he became a willing stranger to his friends, his family, and his home. Now with Samuel gone, he moves back home to help Anna and the others run their Arts Collective in search of a peaceful life.

Only, he's living next door to a hermit, Caleb Brewster, that never leaves his flat; Nathan's sentence appeal is fast approaching and all the judges are corrupt; and Anna has a stalker that is far more involved in everything than anybody really realised.

At least the chaos in New York is fun.

Trying my hand at a longform modern AU Tallster fic. Basic premise is that Ben is a burnt out events organiser and Caleb is an agoraphobe. With added mystery elements, of course (full tags below the break). Aiming for frequent updates, I have up to chapter 5 written right now.
