Even though it was 48 degrees it was just as amazing as always. Hottest day on record and I was that person (and only person) to get to the concert early, but I can’t break tradition! The show was absolutely beautiful and I had a very special moment with Ben, where he was looking for me in the crowd and when he spotted me gave the biggest smile, a wave and gave each other air high fives (You can may tell I’m a little excited and have that moment in reply in my brain). Just for them to know that I’m at every show means the world to me. And I’m devastated this tour is coming to an end tomorrow. I’m so emotional and in such strong denial over the fact this tour is over. These last two week have been the best time of my life and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Sunday night we finished the tour up in Perth. Absolutely mental night that I don’t ever want to forget. The highlight of my night for sure was when Marcus dedicated ‘Tompkins Square Park’ to me by mouth to me “this is your song”. It took me the whole night to realize he was talking to me cause I just couldn’t believe it. He also sung ‘Beloved’ at me which is one of my all time favorite songs and I was just crying through the whole thing then Marcus started gesturing towards me singing “see my children praying at your feet” And I was gone. ‘Believe’ was also very special again as he came through the crowd and held onto my hand again. More tears followed. Ben gave me a cheeky wave as always. There were so more moments of the lads starring at me or smiling at me which means the world to me. ‘Delta’ begun to play and I knew this meant it was the end, the whole song I was crying from all the joy and happiness I have experienced over the last two weeks but also over the fact that it was coming to an end. I’m going to miss them so much. I’m going to miss seeing Ben smile, every time he’d smile at me I was filled with so much Joy. I’m going to miss Winston’s dancing in ‘Beloved’ and ‘Tompkins’ so much, those songs always get me so excited purely for Winnie’s dancing. And I’m going to miss Teds bass face always bringing the best expressions and his beautiful baritone voice in the acoustic songs, it just makes me melt. And I’m going to miss Marcus’s amazing banter about cricket, the way he stands on the amps and the best hand holds I’ve ever received. I’m so thankful to have been able to do this trip and will never forget it. More than anyone I want to thank my favorite lads in the world @mumfordandsons for putting on the best shows ever and being so bloody amazing. Thank you so much for your kindness towards me, I’m eternally grateful. I’m looking forward to doing this again in the future and already planning where in the world next I can go to see the lads (hint: I think I’ll do South Africa).
