“I think we could convince Archer to do anything if we put our mind to it,” Chris giggled. He thought of Fliss and decided that Archer would be all too eager to go and join her. Carmen seemed oblivious, but it hadn’t gone unnoticed by Chris and Izzy just how much of a crush the youngest Reese brother had on Felicity Conrad. “He and Fliss get along, I’m sure he’d go.” 

His hand felt perfectly placed against Carmen’s ass, and unless the other man protested, he wouldn’t be moving it any time soon. "I should shower." he protested, thumb brushing the nape of Chris' neck. He needed to get up, get dressed, stop messing around. It would be easier to focus with Chris dressed. But then his tongue was in his mouth, and Carmen felt warm all over, a low fluttering of desire in the pit of his stomach.

"Fine." he insisted, the curve of his back arching into Chris' touch, huffing in defeat against his mouth. He let himself smile - he could enjoy this for a little longer. "Okay, honey."

Carmen knew it would be what felt like hours before either of them rose to make breakfast. They would get distracted in the contours of each others bodies, the only indication that time passed being the light soaking through the parted curtains and the rumbling of their stomachs. Carmen tended to lose time when he was with Chris, he forgot himself, his responsibilities. Nothing mattered as much when they were together.

"Love you." he heard himself mumble, teeth nipping the lobe of Chris' ear. It should've felt dangerous, with Chris half-hard underneath him and looking up at him with the sweetest eyes, but it was the truest thing Carmen had ever known - loving Chris. It wasn't a matter of being in love with him, it was different. Better, almost.

Carmen heard his stomach rumble, and promptly ignored it.
