- where were the demogorgon? dogs? bats?
- why was the mind flayer in the final form easier to defeat than the s3 mind flayer?
- what happened to argyle? dr owens? susie? vickie? erica? max’s mom?
- how did hopper become chief again? everyone was just cool after thinking he died in season 3?
- mike never said i love you to el despite it being their literal catalyst in s4
- why was will chosen? why is the date november 6th important?
- why did vecna need 12 kids?
- where did the mind flayer come from? it started as a rock, but was it man made? who found out? was it on purpose?
- who was the man in the cave?
- what about the pregnant women?
- another big issue between mike and el is he saw her as a superhero and she hated it but then she says “you’re the only one who saw the real me”
- what about the painting will made? it was a huge part of will and mike’s relationship in s4. never brought up except for the flash forward and it’s on the wall
- mike is wearing glasses in the flash forward but he has never needed glasses?
- after robin and will’s conversation of avalanches and playful shoves and tammy, we didnt even get a one on one of mike and will
- mike never saw kali (008) get shot. how does he know that’s what happened during his fake el death story?
- how did mike communicate with el in the void? el didn’t have water and mike had no ties to the hive mind.
- did joyce and hopper just never remember they went to school with henry? what is the purpose of making a point of showing joyce and henry interact in hs if it’s never recalled?
- if it’s a hive mind and all the vines and everything died with vecna, why didn’t will?
- how did will snap all of the demos and didnt pass out or have some sort of physical reaction besides a nose bleed?
- max was in a coma for two years and was able to graduate?
- the end of season 4 shows the upside down coming through hawkins. did not a single citizen see it? they all believed it was an earthquake.
- water doesn’t exist in the upside down. we know that from the lake scene in season 4. how did el have the water tank?
- the mind flayer “likes it cold” but yet dimension X is warm and has a sun
- where did the mind flayer particles go when they left the kids?
- what happened to dr kay? was she in the explosion?
- none of the kids/adults involved in the finale were punished by the government. they got off for literally everything.
- what happened to all of the letters max wrote for everyone in s4?
- who opened the door that allowed will to get taken in the first episode?
- what was the point of the russians in season 3? they never come back.
- who opened the first gate and why? was it the government? henry?
- why did dr brenner decide to start the program? what was the motivation? why did he select the kids/mothers that he did?
- why are the graduation gowns orange when the school has never used those colors?
- what happened to barb? we don’t see her get killed, she was pulled off screen like the kids? the demos don’t just kill someone like that.
- we know the upside down is frozen in time from nov 6 (nancy finding her study cards in s4) but s2 ends with the snowball dance in the upside down.
- how and why did the upside down freeze?
- how did el recognize will in s1 if they never met? (to our knowledge)
- why did nancy see mike getting killed by vecna in s4?
- did will lose his powers?
- melvalds (the general store) doesn’t sell milkshakes.
- will liked “getting lost in the woods”? (per his coming out scene)
- how did dustin get valedictorian if he was absent fighting the upside down and getting in fist fights?
- will’s coming out scene had WAY too many people AND no way not a single person didnt make some kind of homophobic comment.
- what happened to the grandfather clock/what was the significance?
and last but certainly not least
- the entire show was made for outcasts. for losers. for freaks. the first two seasons (even the third a little bit) had the stereotypical 80s nerd vibe. halfway through s3, you can tell it was being made for the general public.
i’m sure there’s more but that’s what i have.
