if there is one thing he has perfected in all his time across the galaxy, it's some semblance of influence over the act of suppression. if you let your emotions get the better of you, you've lost more than just the control over yourself. he doesn't like to think about it – it had been something of a failure, hadn't it? – but there's only one time he can recall in recent memory of allowing his frustrations to best him.

“ those... monkey-lizards, ” his head tilts, chin jutting to the side. as if it pains him to lower himself by using the verbiage of brats, “ were amateurs. whatever it is they have coming for them is well deserved. ” jod sniffs, grey eyes – still hidden behind his reclaimed helm – narrow as they speed across the stars. he hasn't been able to subdue that feeling, and it is beginning to unnerve him. “ i've saved you from their ineptitude, really. you should be grateful. ”
