First, in case you needed to hear this, love your stuff, keep up the good work, you're doing great.
Second, I was wondering if I could request Uriel x reader content, maybe a oneshot or headcanons, up to you. She deserves so much love after everything. I'm totally NOT the biggest simp for her, nope, I'm completely normal about her /s
Anyways, no pressure, drink water and take care of yourself ゚+.ヽ(≧▽≦)ノ.+゚
Uriel X Reader Headcanons
Helloooo! You are genuinely so lovely, thank you so much. I feel so motivated! I loved writing these, Uriel is a great character, underrated if you ask me. I really started feeling thing’s for her after writing this lol.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Abaddon was Uriel's first and only love for years, many more than you could ever fathom living for. Even after his death her loyalty was unwavering, and the same love that was once pure kept her from seeing the darkness that had grown within him. After his corruption is put to an end for good, Uriel's grief would hit her with full force. At least after Abaddon's fall she had been able to distract herself fighting off the demonic forces on Earth and awaiting the day that she could avenge him.
Understandably, I think it would take her some time to open up her heart to another. In time, you will earn the devotion that was once reserved for Abaddon.
Some nights, only once she's certain that you're asleep will she allow herself to cry for the love that she lost. You usually find her up on your roof, knees pull up to her chest and her wings loose at her sides so to block her teary face from any prying eyes. Angels were not supposed to cry. How could she ever let anyone see her in such a state? Anyone other than you, that is. You slip out your window and join her at her side, running a hand through her silky white hair and whispering words of comfort.
During your own moments of sorrow, when the pain for the world and the people that you lost is overwhelming, she'll pull you into her side and wrap a wing around your back.
"Lean on me now, little one. We will see through this pain together."
Humanities strength and intelligence isn't lost on Uriel, so she doesn't take kindly to any prejudice from the dogmatic angels who still believe humans to be their inferiors. Such behaviour is especially not tolerated when it's directed at you. She won't hesitate to send any seasoned warrior back to basic training if they dare utter a threat in your direction.
Whilst the White City was unreachable, Uriel found rare moments of comfort during the dawn. It was no wonder to her that humanity worshipped their sun, with the warmth and hope of a new beginning that it brought; another day to fight for who she loved.
She tries her best to teach you how fight. She needs to know that you could stand your own ground in her absence, at least until she would be able to reach you. In hindsight, giving you a weapon that was more than double your size and weight probably wasn't the best way to start.
Watching her train and spar is far more enjoyable anyway.
A bonus little dribble of something I will hopefully finish soon:
Uriel, my queen!!! I would love and cherish her like Abaddon never could. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I love you for writing this (respectfully and platonically). Yes, I know I look pathetic, but my sick ahh is happy.
