Yato and Hiyori’s relationship is really special tome.

Mainly because this isn’t a shoujo. Which means, theycould just abandon their relationship and limit it to just being friends. Now,we shouldn’t underestimate how meaningful friendships are but when you have twocharacters who just openly can be so direct and honest with each other, whohave strong feelings that go beyond friendship, who secretly glance each other,and spontaneously laugh upon simple memories because it gives them joy… Then Ifeel like it is appropriate to implant a romantic relationship into the story.

Noragami is a shounen. It covers many genres such ascomedy, supernatural, action. However, I feel like it never loses it’s focus.It knows exactly when to show us humour and when to make our hearts break whenit’s getting emotional.
