βSmell the autismβ? Really? How much of an ignorant bigot do you have to be to say that? First of all, you canβt justΒ βsmell autismβ. Second of all, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being autistic. I am not autistic, but I have several friends who are on the spectrum and babysit for a couple autistic kids. Just because it can be harder for them to learn, act in social situations, or express themselves, does not mean they are any less of a person, and the word autistic shouldnβt be used as an insult. Iβm not even offended by this, I just feel bad that youβre such a sad, pathetic little creature that you think itβs okay to use a neurological disorder as an insult.
Also, Tarantino is amazing. I donβt see how you can call him a hypocrite seeing as heβs one of the few filmmakers who is completely devoted to his craft. He still shoots on film, he pours his heart and soul into his scripts, he makes genius references and homages in his films, his use of music is unparalleled, and he sticks by his opinions. I could go on and give you the essays Iβve written about him but Iβll save that for another time, because theΒ βautism insultβ is way more important.
