Mackenzie shook his head with a smirk. “No, what?” He asked looking over at her. “Oh my God, shut up.” he let out a soft chuckle. “Where do you come up with this stuff?! That is the real question.” he chuckled again, playfully pushing her arm.

Wow, gee thanks. Good talk pal. So how are you liking it so far?

Woah there, Mac. Don’t let your ego get to your head now. Hah! You’re funny. Nothing will happen if you gave me liquor. What kind of girl do you think I am? Well, alright then. Suit yourself. Just remember, burnt popcorn considering I always burn mine.

When he asked if she regretted leaving, she let out a small scoff before shaking her head. “It’s way more peaceful here– less yelling, that’s for damn sure.”

“Hm. Well Reese and I might go out. Wanna come?”

As the boy began to look down at her, her gaze shot to the floor. “Uh, how are you liking LA?” She questioned, looking back up but avoiding his gaze directly. It wasn’t that she was uncomfortable with him, she just knew they had a past and moments like this made it a little awkward for her. 

Mackenzie swallowed hard and looked away, crossing his arms. His ‘bad boy’ attitude taking over again. Things were kind of weird between them. They hooked up before while being drunk and never questioned or talked about it the next day. “Yep.” he gave a short answer. “Regretting leaving?” he questioned making sure not to give her any eye contact.

Wait like 3 some? Dude that’s gross.

You know my parents. They are so high strung they probably haven’t realized I’m gone yet.

When he asked if the lotion was lube, she let out a small scoff and rolled her eyes. “Get your head out of the gutter.” Felicity mumbled, letting out a small sigh of relief as he finally got the hint. When he touched her back, she let out a small hiss at the sting before a feeling of cool relief ran over her back. Turning back to the boy, she gave him a small smile before taking the tube back from him.  “About ten times better, thank you.”

Mack couldn’t help but chuckle at her accusation of him being dirty. After he was done, he handed the tube back to her and stood back up straight. “You welcome.” he gave a small smile looking down at her. 

They don’t smell too bad. You can cover it up with some perfume or cologne, Mac. You’re overreacting! Hah! I got some new peach smelling perfume and spray from Bath & Body Works if you want to borrow them.

What the fuck peach? Do you want me to smell like a walking garden!? Well, maybe it couldn’t hurt. You smell good. Wait, no! I refuse. Go away.

Why does my popcorn button always end up burning my popcorn? I want a snack, not burnt ashes. Note to Self: Buy a new microwave with a properly working popcorn button. Another Note to Self: Apologize to fire department and house mates.

Mackenzie took the tube and gave her a look. “What is this, lube?” He asked before looking back up at the brunette to see her lift her shirt. “Wow, your back is really red.” He leaned down and squirted some of the lotion into his hand and on her back gently. “How does that feel?”
