tysm for the tags @rainydayathogwarts @milunalupin @notyaslol ily guys!!!
original post by @sun-kissy
also i love how the starting questions were like "what's your fav ice cream?" or "what are you craving rn?" and all of a sudden it's "are you a capitalist?"
npt: @pizzaapeteer @obsessedwithceleste @msmk11 @unstablereader + anyone else who wants to do it
cw: use of y/n, reader wears a dress, makeup, and has long hair, minor drinking, suggestive talk, age gap (5 years), barely edited.
Word count: idk, I've kinda given up on finding out. It is probably less than 1k though.
So, I went MIA again. Sorry, I have my last final tomorrow (Monday) and then I go on a trip so hopefully I will get back into the groove of writing after all this is over and I have more free time.

The BAU were invited to a charity event, they had solved a kidnapping of an important person's child. Your dad happened to be a major partner for said important person, so you were there since your mother was sick.
The dress you were wearing was comfortable but the stares from the older men were not. You were off to the side, watching as others moved around and socialized.
You noticed him right when he walked in, you heard what happened. Luke Alvez was the one to get to the girl before anyone else, and you knew just by looking at him, that Luke was going to be the center of all the single ladies attention.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You were still aline on the side of the event when he approached.
"Can I just stand with you and pretend to be in a conversation?" Luke had asked, you nodded and took a sip of your drink.
"Sure, tired of all the attention?" You gently questioned, you wanted to tell him how good he looked and how you would jump his bones if given the chance. But you decided that he has gotten enough attention, plus you were five years younger than him.
"Yeah, one too many older ladies asking if I'm single," he gave you a smile and you couldn't help but stare at his nice jawline. "I'm Luke, by the way," he offered his hand and you took it in yours.
"Y/n," you smiled and let go of his hand before turning your head to the side at a commotion. You missed the way Luke looked down at your pretty painted lips and the way your hair fell down your shoulders in the perfect formation. When you looked back, Luke was looking at your eyes again.
"So why are you off to the side?"
"I'm only here because my mom's sick, though she old me that she just didn't want to be here."
"Well, that's a good thing for me, then. I got to meet you," he gave you another smile and you had to smile back. The two of you got to know each other more over the last few hours of the event. Even swapping numbers and a promise to get coffee, drinks, or dinner sometime. Maybe the five years wasn't so much of a problem as you thought it was.
Summary: You always thought your crush was one sided
cw: fem!reader, one use of y/n, none(?), barely edited.
Word count: y'all, i wish i knew. I'm too tired for this
I realized I kinda just forgot to post and then I literally got hit with writers block so have this barely fleshed out story.

You hadn't meant to fall in love with your neighbor, he was just cute and his dog was even cuter. It didn't help that when you did finally have the courage to introduce yourself he was funny and smart and his smile made it feel impossible not to copy.
So when you offered to watch his dog when he went on cases for work, you told yourself it was just you being a nice neighbor. And when you felt the sting and low pressure of jealousy and heartbreak at his new girlfriend, you swore it was just you feeling under the weather.
"Luke, I promise, I'm just not feeling well," you would lie, halfway into your apartment. Trying to keep the burn of your feelings inside your apartment and your happy facade outside. You could tell he didn't believe you, after all he was a profiler; however, he was your friend first, so he didn't push.
But when you got a boyfriend, just one to help keep the burn of heartbreak away. It was Luke's turn to feel the odd sting and low pressure of jealousy and heartbreak. It wasn't surprising to him, or anyone on his team, that he broke up with his girlfriend only days after you announced you had a boyfriend.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
"Are you sure you like Diego?" Your friend would ask you every time you would call her about something he had done to make you upset.
"Of course I do," you would tell her, not even convincing yourself. "Why else would I be dating him?"
They would drop it, knowing that it was going no where. But when you broke up when Diego, suddenly Luke was always around. You thought nothing of it at first, he was just a constant, after all you did live next door. It wasn't until he would knock on your door asking if he could hang out with you that you started to get suspicious.
It was during one of these days, that Luke finally confessed.
"Y/n, I like you, a lot. And was wondering if you'd like to go out on a date with me," Luke blurted out and you looked at him shocked.
"I-" you started but stopped for a moment. "I would love to," you finally managed to get out. "Oh, and I like you a lot too," you added onto the end, just in case he didn't know. And suddenly, you two were laughing and it seemed everything was normal. Just with a little added intimacy to the relationship.
i imagine that luke somehow forgets to tell the bau that he's dating someone so he asks if his girl can come to a get together at rossi's and rossi says yes thinking that it is roxy that luke is bringing when in reality it is the reader, can it be a girly fem reader too?
Forgetful || L. Alvez
Summary: Luke forgot to mention he had a girlfriend, the truth comes to light at a party when they show up together.
cw: use of Y/N, predetermined last name (Ashford), reader has slight anxiety but it isn't described in detail, reader is smart and knows the statistics of dice rolls,

It wasn’t an uncommon occurrence for a team get-together at David Rossi’s house, after all, he insisted that he lived in a mansion. Not that anyone ever disagreed with him, he did live in a mansion. It also wasn’t an uncommon occurrence for Luke to bring Roxy.
“Can I bring my girl?” Luke sent a text on his phone before looking up at David.
“Of course, she’s always invited,” David responded, thinking that Luke was talking about Roxy. Unknown to the team, Luke had been dating someone for months; however, in his defense, he had meant to tell them, but there was a case when he meant to and never got around to it.
“Great, we might be a bit late,” Luke warned the older man, leaving with a shared goodbye.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Are you sure they want me there? I know we’ve been dating for a few months, but still, you guys are like family. What if they don’t like me?” You were nervously playing with Luke’s dog tags, which he had given you to wear only 46 hours ago.
“They will love you, and of course, they want you there, they have to meet you after all,” Luke pulled you to him, pressing a kiss to your temple to calm your nerves. He knocked on the door, which you had been standing in front of for about a minute.
“Welcome, I wasn’t aware you were bringing someone,” David invited you two in, and you scrunch your eyebrows at Luke.
“I asked if I could, remember?” Luke subtly shifted his hold on you, letting you know that he was there for you no matter how this turned out.
“I thought you were talking about Roxy,” David admitted, and you relaxed a bit. “So, who is this?”
“My girlfriend,” Luke said plainly, and you caught onto what happened before he did.
“Did you ever get around to telling them about me after that case?” You turned to face him and saw the realization cross his face.
“I guess I didn’t, huh,” Luke rubbed the back of his neck, and you let out a small laugh as the three of you rounded the corner into the room everyone else was in. You were greeted with a bunch of curious faces. You recognized some of them from the photos Luke had taken and shown you, but some were unfamiliar to you.
“Who’s this?” Penelope, as you recognized, asked.
“This is Y/N Ashford, my girlfriend,” Luke introduced you, and you watched as they all smiled and welcomed you.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“How long have you two been dating?” Spencer asked you and Luke.
“About five months now,” you told him.
“Four months, two weeks, and five days,” Luke proudly stated, and you smiled over at him.
“Sorry, four months, two weeks, and five days,” you copied Luke, hearing the laughs of those around you.
“That long, and we are just now learning about you?” Emily entered the conversation, and you looked over at her.
“In Luke’s defense, he was supposed to tell you, but then y’all got a case, and he just forgot to tell you,” you smiled at Luke, awkwardly laughing next to you.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“She’s pretty,” Penelope walked up to Luke, you were off on a side table playing Street Craps against David and winning.
“Yeah, she is, isn’t she?” Luke had a lovesick look on his face.
“Where’d you meet her?” Penelope was smiling. She loved seeing Luke in love and happy, though she would never admit it.
“She lives next to me, she ran into me, literally,” Luke laughed, remembering how horrified you looked when you realized you ran into someone.
“She won!” David called in slight disbelief, and you were laughing at his over-the-top reaction.
“It’s statistics,” you justified your win, making his turn to you.
“You know dice statistics?” David questioned you, and you nodded.
“My friends and I used to play this in study hall all the time, I learned them to help win,” you shrugged, brushing off how you memorized the statistics to win a game.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Are you sure they liked me?” Your nerves slowly came back as you and Luke left David’s house.
“They loved you,” Luke assured you, his hand landing on your thigh to ground you.
“Are you sure? David isn’t upset that I beat him?”
“If he cared about people beating him in a game where there are statistics, he wouldn’t offer to play them with Spencer around,” Luke explained, smiling over at you when he stopped at a red light.
“Ok, but did I really have to take all the money? I didn’t think we were actually playing for money,” you looked down at the envelope that held the few dollars that you had won.
“Yeah, he would have found a way to get the money to you anyway,” Luke told you, and you laughed.
Summary: You make it to the Alvez manor and a few things come to light.
cw: use of Y/N, reader gets sick, reader is poisoned, the villainization of Lisa, barely edited.

You weren’t told why you were being married off, but you had an idea. You knew your family had some financial trouble and that your dowry would help tremendously. You couldn’t be mad at your parents for making the arrangement, they needed the money and you loved them to the point you were ok with it. But that doesn’t mean you were ok with who you were marrying, after all his last two fiancees died before the marriage and he had a mistress.
“Bumblebee, are you ready?” Your father walked into your childhood room where you were packing the last few of your things.
“As I’ll ever be,” you sighed, letting your shoulders sag in relief as you grabbed your last item and shoved it into your bag.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Baroness Alvez,” one of the maids greeted you at the door. I am Julianna, your handmaiden. " She bowed, and you nodded at her.
“It’s nice to meet you, Julianna,” you smiled at her.
“Follow me, my lady. " She grabbed your bag from your hand and directed others to grab the rest of your bags from the carriage. You followed Julianna through the manor, it reminded you of the summer manor you used to visit with your family. “And this is your room, the baron has already cleaned out a place for your clothes,” she pointed in the direction of the wardrobe that stood in the corner by the window and a full-length mirror.
“Thank you, Julianna,” you smiled at her as she bowed.
“Is there anything else you might need?”
“If it’s not trouble, could you take a walk with me? I’d like to walk through the gardens but don’t want to be alone,” you placed your bag down and she nodded at your request.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You and Julianna talked, you had yet to see your husband since making it to the manor. You hadn’t decided if that was a good or bad thing, but you did like just talking and getting to know Julianna.
“Can I call you Julie?” You glanced over at the girl.
“Of course my lady,” she smiled over at you and you smiled at her.
“Julie, can you be honest with me about something?” You watched as she nodded. “How much do I have to worry about the baron’s mistress?”
“Not much, he never brings her here, and when she is here for business, she’ll stay away,” Julianna informed you.
“Business?” You furrowed your brows at her.
“Her father is the town’s head farmer, she follows him to the manor when he comes to talk to Baron Alvez,” Julianna told you.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You had been at the manor few a few weeks, and each week you seemed to be getting sicker. You were confined to bed, Luke had given up his place there to let you rest. If he hadn’t seemed genuinely worried for your health you would have believed he was poisoning you. Julianna walked in with three trays of food, you scrunched your eyebrows at her. She placed one of them down out of your reach and the other on the tray table you had over your lap. Her own was placed on the table next to you, not wanting to break the promise that she would eat with you while you were bedbound.
“Julie, what’s with the extra tray of food?” You glance over at it.
“I have a feeling why I know why you’re sick,” she told you and you nodded, your trust in her at an all-time high since the beginning of your getting sick.
“Want to tell me?” You questioned her.
“I caught Lady Lisa in the kitchen,” her voice was small and you tilted your head at the mention of your husband’s mistress.
“Ok?”
“I’ve seen her in there before but I always assumed that she was just being friendly; however, I saw her look around before dumping something into your food. She didn’t see me but I have a feeling that she might be the reason the baron’s past fiancees never lasted long,” Julianna told you and you nodded at her. Unbeknownst to both of you, Luke paused outside of your shared bedroom door at the words he had heard.
“Have you told Luke?” You asked.
“Are you crazy? The baron would never believe that Lady Lisa was purposefully poisoning you,” she told you and you nodded. “Can I ask a question?”
“Julie, I’ve told you this before, you can speak freely to me,” you told her.
“How are you not upset that Baron Alvez has a mistress and does not love you?” She shuffled closer to you, grabbing her cup of tea.
“I believe love is subjective,” you started. “He loves Lady Lisa, that much is obvious to anyone. While l would love to have a marriage of love, this is one of convenience. There’s a love in that, the love I have for my family is in this marriage. I married Luke for them, to keep them from the poor house. Plus, I believe love can be learned. I believe that over time Luke and I will learn to love each other, whether it is true love or a platonic one,” you told her, humming as the warm tea slipped past your lips. You two sat in silence for a moment, your words hanging in the air. Before Julianna could answer you, the door of the bedroom opened to reveal Luke.
“My lord,” Julie stood up quickly and bowed at him.
“Could you give us a minute, Julianna?” Luke asked your handmaiden and she looked over at you, knowing that you had the final say in whether she left or not. You nodded at her, letting her know she could leave. She bowed one more time and left you and Luke alone. “How are you feeling?” Luke walked over to the bed where you were ordered to stay.
“Better,” you lied, you didn’t want him to worry. You hadn’t lied when you said there was love in the marriage, it may not be romantic but it was strong enough for you to worry about his feelings. You watched as Luke scrunched his brows at you, his hand reaching up to feel your forehead. He had been informed by one of the guards that Lisa had been seen in the kitchen pouring a vile of something on your food by one of the kitchen maids.
“Are you sure?” Luke’s eyes met you and you realized how comforting they were. You lost your ability to lie to him while making eye contact.
“No,” you sighed, he looked disappointed at you and you had to look away from his eyes. “Don’t you have a meeting with the lead farmer today?” You tried to change the topic.
“I sent him home,” he told you plainly and you scrunched your eyebrows at him. “I was informed by a guard that Lisa was seen pouring a vile onto your food and came here as fast as I could, I sent them both home with the message that Lisa is to never come back,” Luke told you and you looked back at him with mild panic written on your face.
“But you love her,” you argued, she may have poisoned you but you wanted Luke to be happy.
“But you are my wife and you’re more important,” Luke told you.
“Luke,” you sighed but he shook his head at you.
“I already told her that it is over, she had done enough,” Luke told you and you relented letting him have his way.

Hiya, it's Lottie! I asked for the Loki story. Anyway, I was wondering if you would write an arranged marriage story where the reader is forced into a marriage that she doesn't want to be in. It's not a bad marriage at all, in fact, her husband (a character of your choice) respects her but there isn't any love. Her husband is having a very obvious affair with someone and she doesn't mind since he is so respectful and nice to her. They fall in love and there's a moment where he overhears her saying something like she believes people can learn to love or something. You can add whatever you want or take anyway anything. Can it be someone either from criminal minds or marvel?
Sorry again for the long request
A Love We Learned || L. Alvez
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
Hey, Lottie. So I chose Luke Alvez from Criminal Minds and decided to make this into a multipart story, I hope that's ok! I think I told you this before but you never have to apologize for long requests, I love when people have ideas on what they want.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, etc.
Summary: Baron Luke Alvez has been engaged twice before, both of them dying only weeks after moving into his estate. Y/N Falkner is worried about her fate once she is wed and how she will navigate her new life.
cw: use of Y/N, predetermined last name (Falkner until she is married then Alvez), inaccurate descriptions of royal times because I'm not that knowledgeable on the topic, more specific warnings in each part.
₊˚ ‿︵‿︵‿︵୨୧ · · ♡ · · ୨୧‿︵‿︵‿︵ ˚₊
Like this idea but don't want to commit to a possibly unfinished multipart story? Check out my masterlist
Summary: Flirting with strangers is all fun and games until you realize you've been flirting with someone's girlfriend.
cw: no use of Y/N, probably too many pet names, drinking, barely edited.
Word count: idk, I'm too lazy to find out maybe I'll add it later when I have more motivation.
pairings: fem!reader x Luke Alvez, fem!reader x Penelope Garcia, Luke Alvez x Penelope Garcia
Y'all, I realize I've been inactive but college midterms just happened and I've been to tired. So, have this that's been rotting in my drafts. If I remember correctly, it was inspired by that one post somewhere about the girl that kissed a guys girlfriend and then him to make sure he wasn't jealous, only to wake up in a groupchat with the both of them asking is she got home safe.
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
You agreed to go out with your coworkers because it was your birthday and all your regular friends were too busy. You ended up in some bar that was called "safe" by your coworkers because "FBI agents" frequent it all the time. You didn't really know, you just wanted some drinks before heading home and curling up on your couch with a blanket and a movie.
"You're really pretty," you smiled at the blonde at the bar before plopping your head down onto the cool surface.
"Why thank you," she told you cheerfully. "You are too!" You looked over to see her smiling at you before you were called back to your coworkers.
"I gots to go back to my coworkers, it's my birthday and they seem to be the only ones who care!" You told her, faking a cheerful lit. "I'll see you around, pretty," you waved at her before walking back to your coworkers, missing the looks from the blonde and the man next to her.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
"I'm fine, but thanks," you waved off your coworker, Angela, who offered to get you a shot.
"Are you tapping out?" She downed the shot before asking you the question. There was no malice or judgement in her voice, just curiousity.
"Yeah, if I drink anymore I'll wake up with a raging headache and I have to go see my mom in the morning. That and I'm already too drunk, I can feel myself slowly lose the ability to not just talk," you told her.
"Want me to get you something else then? Or are you leaving?"
"A sprite would be nice or water," you watched her smile and wink at you before leaving, presumably going to get you one of the options you gave her. She came but only a few moments later with a slightly pink bubbly drink with some cherries.
"I overheard you talking with someone on the phone the other day, and I remember you saying how much you like Shirley Temples but always forget you can order them. So I got you one," she handed the drink over to you and you smiled.
"Thank you," you took a sip of the drink and she smiled so brightly at you. Out of all the coworkers you were with, she was always the nicest to you.
"Here," one of the bartenders walked over and placed a drink down on the table in front of you.
"Oh, we didn't order that," your coworker, friend, told her and she smiled.
"That guy over there ordered it for your friend here," the bartender pointed over to an attractive looking guy.
"What is it?" You questioned.
"A virgin strawberry sunrise," the bartender told you before walking off.
"Wonder why he decided on a virgin one," you quietly mused.
"Oh! I know that man, he's on the news sometimes. He's one of those agents that work on the serial killer cases," your friend announced and you whipped your head over to look at him. You saw him wince at the sharp turn of your head but recognized that man too.
"Huh," you hummed before going back to sipping on the two drinks you had in front of you.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
"Hey," the blonde from earlier walked up to you with the man who had ordered the drink you were finishing.
"Pretty!" You laughed at her bright smile as you slightly shouted and your friend picking her head up off the table. "Sorry, sorry," you pet her head a few times before she grumbled and placed it back down.
"How's your birthday going?" She sat down next to you, the guy sitting on her other side.
"Eh, my other friends didn't even text me and the rest of our coworkers left for another bar but neither of us wanted to go," you mumbled, placing the empty glass down and checking your phone that went off. "Ah," you did a little happy shimmy at the name, it was your older brother texting you a birthday message and apologizing for taking so long to text you. You absentmindedly hummed along to the song playing through the bar while you quickly typed a response and then passing your phone to the blonde with a new contact open. "Number?" You gently asked, tapping the top of your phone to emphasize your point. "You too, cutie," you made pointed eye contact with the guy before the urge to pee hit you.
You shimmed your way closer to your friend, making her move so you could slide over her lap and out of the booth. You ran over to the bathroom, unknowingly passing by one of the friends that said she was too busy to be with you on your birthday.
"Hey, look," your friend approached you and you scrunched your eyebrows at her as you finished washing your hands. "I'm sorry for lying about being busy tonight but did you that guy? I saw you earlier but I didn't want someone else to get to him first," she told you and you just nodded, too drunk to think of a response. "I'll make it up to you, I promise," she gave you a quick hug before leaving the bathroom.
You tried to will the tears away but they slid down faster than you wanted them to, you weren't a cry baby but she was supposed to be your closest friend. You gasped for air a few times before the door opened and a brunette walked in, she rushed to you when she saw you crying.
"Are you ok?" She ran her eyes over your face as you tried to get yourself back together. "My name's Emily," she offered you her name and you managed to choke out your own. "Here, lean against me, the floor's too dirty for you to sit on it," she pulled you closer to her and you started to slow down your sobs and gasps.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," you babbled, chocking on your tears some more.
"You have nothing to apologize for," Emily told you as the door opened again, the blonde from earlier walked in and rushed over to the two of you.
"Emily, what happened, why is she crying?" The blonde questioned.
"I don't know, I walked in and she was crying," Emily looked between you two.
"My," you hiccuped as you tried to speak. "My friend lied about being busy and decided hitting on a man was more important than saying happy birthday," you tried to stay strong but you hiccuped again and let the tears fall down your face. The two women glanced at each other before you were ushered into the blonde's arms.
"She was the one who left the bathroom as I was walking in, right?" Emily questioned and you nodded before she left.
"Penelope," the blonde to you.
"What?"
"My name's Penelope," she clarified and you hummed before giving her yours.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You woke up to the sound of your phone going off next to you, you groaned at the intrusion of your sleep.
"Hello?" You answered the phone without looking at it, your head was throbbing.
"Hey, cariño, did you get home alright?" The smooth voice of Luke, whose name you learned after the whole bathroom incident, asked.
"Huh, yeah," you scrunched your eyebrows trying to remember what all had happened. After the bathroom, you learned your ex-best friend was hitting on one of Luke, Penelope, and Emily's friends causing you to start downing drinks again. You overheard Penelope on the other side of the phone and got even more confused.
"Hey, baby," Penelope greeted you and you hummed.
"Uh, hi?" You groaned as you sat up.
"You don't remember, do you?" She sounded sad and you felt horrible.
"I," you cut yourself off as your bedroom door opened and you saw Angela walk in with water and a bottle of pills. This is barely remembered, she stayed the night with you since you lived closer to the bar. "Thank you," you mumbled as you grabbed both from her, she nodded before plopping down on your bed with you.
"You talking to your new girlfriend and boyfriend?" She questioned and you looked at her with wide eyes.
"What?" You questioned before turning your attention back to the phone where Penelope and Luke had been waiting patiently. "We're dating, all three?"
"Yeah, baby, we are," Penelope told you.
"Oh," you looked at the time on your clock. "Can we talk later? I have to be at my mom's in about an hour."
"Yeah, we will talk later, cariño," Luke had taken his phone back before you hung up.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
"Wow," your mother just nodded at you, impressed.
"Mom," you sighed and she laughed.
"What? You got drunk and ended up with two partners, so what?" She shrugged and you put your head down. "There's no need to be ashamed!"
"I know, but that's not what I'm worried about. I don't remember it and I feel horrible about that," you told her and she nodded.
"I bet you do, but you just need to talk to them," she offered, setting the cup of coffee down on the table in front of you.
"I know, I told them I would talk to them after I came here to visit you," you told your mother.
"Well, then, I guess I should hurry up and tell you about how I've been," your mother joked but started talking about herself anyway.

You sat in your car staring at your phone, you promised your mother you would call them back on your drive home. You bit the bullet and pressed the call button on Luke's contact, you just hoped the two were together. You anxiously waited for him to answer as you pulled out of the driveway and just when you thought you wouldn't get one, the ringing stopped and you heard Luke answer.
"Querida, hi," Luke sounded out of breath and you wondered what he had been doing.
"Hi, I didn't call at a bad time, did I?" You questioned.
"Not at all, I'm just finishing up my run with Roxy," he told you and you nodded even though he couldn't see you.
"Ah," you flipped your blinker on. "I was calling to finish the talk we were having this morning but if you're busy," you trailed off, watching as a car whipped out of a parking lot in front of you.
"No, it's fine, just let me add Penelope to the call," Luke told you and you could hear him shuffling around before you heard the phone start to ring.
"Hey," Penelope answered the phone and you let Luke tell her what was happening while you paid attention to the person in front of you driving crazy. "Oh, good. I was waiting for this," Penelope said.
The three of you started talking about what happened last night. How after they found out that you had been crying in the bathroom after your friend left you alone on your birthday to flirt with their friend, you started to drink again. How after your third drink you looked at them and said you found Penelope attractive and how you apologized profusely and reassured Luke that he was also attractive when you found out they were dating. You learned that you had told them that you would date them both if they let you, and that's how you ended up at their third.
You friend, at that point, had started to sober up a little and had reminded you that you had to see your mom in the morning. So you said bye to both of them, kissing them both as you left and told Angela that she could stay the night at your place.
"So, you two are ok with this? That I just entered your relationship?" You tightened your hold on the steering wheel as you pulled into the parking garage of your apartment complex.
"We've already talked about it," Penelope assured you. "Even before last night," she added to make sure you understood that they wanted this.
"Ok, well, I just got home. So I'll text you two when I get into my apartment and maybe we can figure out a way to get to know each other better," you offered, turning your car off.
"We'd love that," Luke told you and you smiled at his words. Excited for what was lying in store for you.
