Until proven otherwise, I choose to believe none of these guys can speak any words. Lint communicates solely through "big rpg guy swinging sword" sound effects. Blue M&M gets reversed choir harmonies, Hat makes various robotic whirrs and clanks, and Soldier speaks utter gibberish like simlish, occasionally interrupted by snippets of various national anthems.

None of this is considered to even be the language common.

Okay, so this is earnest mode, but bear with me because this is secretly *why* d20 on a bus works so well.

Because tabletop games are about having fun with your friends. And you can do it, too. Really, you can.

You don't need battle maps or worldbuilding or projections or rules or even a plot that makes sense. You don't need to dm like matt or brennan or aabria or jasmine.

You just need to be having fun. Then you've played a good game.

what you really can’t fully understand about dimension 20: on a bus if you’re not from LA is they’re literally going from North Hollywood to LAX. this is a classic Angelino experience and you have to give Katie props as a grade A dragon master for both creating something of a spiritual successor to Unsleeping City while telling a totally unique and compelling story that really captures the true spirit of Los Angeles even while existing in a fantastical version of it

Fanart of my new favorite dimension 20 season, D20 on a bus!!! Absolutely loved the freedom of character and emotion packed into the start, and the abstract nature of the characters let me have a ton of fun doing character designs that are just based on their personalities! Had a ton of fun and am excited to see where the season goes
