|| Get to know MABEL PINES who’s TWENTY-ONE years old and a SOPHOMORE in college majoring in FASHION DESIGN. She is from CORONA and is often times mistaken for HAILEE STEINFELD while others say she reminds them of MABEL from GRAVITY FALLS. ||

mabel can’t even remember her life before dipper and she is fine with that. meeting dipper was her number one moment of fate and even though she had to fight him a little bit to be called his twin, she knows they are just that. and when they were adopted together everything fell into place and has felt right since.
mabel has always been a bit eccentric. she wanted to see the good in everything and make the world a loving and better place. she never wanted anyone to feel alone or lost. she couldn’t stand the idea of anyone feeling like they didn’t have a friend and mabel wanted to be that friend.
despite that, she wasn’t good at making friends because of how strong she came on with people. she didn’t mean to be so intense, she just really liked the idea of everyone being happy together. but her trying to force people to be happy backfired most of the time. even on dipper. but no matter how intense she got, dipper was always by her side, being her best friend and brother. he was there for her through her most awkward and intense moments and she loves him so much for it.
but the awkward years weren’t forever and she was able to blossom once she met grenda and candy. finally, there were girls who liked mabel for mabel and were into all of the weird things she was into. she felt normal with them and to this day she would totally die for them.
now that she is in college she has decided she wants to be a fashion major. she has been sewing her own sweaters since she was in grade school and is heavily inspired by 80s fashion (which is totally gonna make a comeback). she...stands out among the other majors, but she is okay with that. she likes it that way. she knows she is gonna make a change to the fashion world.
in the meantime she has tried to take on several jobs to fund her supplies. working at the mystery shack is a given, but grunkle stan doesn’t really pay that well, so she had to get a job or two other places. she has a gig at bueno nacho, but her shifts got reduced because she gives out too much free cheese.
she is a heavy scrap booker. she has her polaroid camera on her constantly just in case some good memories happen and her sticker collection is out of this world. she knows she is a little too old for stickers but she doesn’t care. she thinks it’s fun.
a few years ago at the mystery fair mabel’s life changed for the better. she won herself a baby pig at the fair and he has been her best friend ever since. she named him waddles and he is her rock. she makes him clothes, she has a leash to take him on walks, and when he was smaller she had a baby carrier she used to walk him around. he lives upstairs in the mystery shack with dipper and mabel.
over the last few weeks or so she has been going through changes. well, she doesn’t really know how to explain it. she woke up one day and she was glowing. she’s only ever heard of one other person doing that and they seemed to be normal, so she just....tries to go with it. her heart has always been on her sleeve and so glowing to the colors of her emotions was something that just put her insides more on the outsides. it is a little stressful though. and dipper being her brother does not help it be less stressful.
when it comes to romance, mabel is obsessed with finding the one for her. she likes all kinds of guys and wants to date and appreciate them all. in regards to her sexuality she doesn’t actually know. she is starting to wonder if she also likes girls after getting all giddy over one and now she knows nothing. but she is willing to find out.
she is a self-proclaimed matchmaker. she will loudly ship anyone and everyone she thinks has chemistry on the island and will try to set people up if asked. she has studied countless romance books and seen every rom-com in english. so she knows what she is talking about.
she is big on music. she loves 80s pop songs the most but she is branching out into the bigger hits. she is a sucker for each and every boy band and wants to date them all. she feels like her soulmate is a musician.

she is just a bucket full of sunshine but also a walking disaster.

has been to the hospital a few times for craft-related injuries.
she had braces as a kid and the day she got them taken off was a game-changer. she wears a mouth guard to sleep now because she doesn’t wanna grind her teeth in her sleep.
