Sketch #12 Hello out there! So we FINALLY arrived in the nothern Holland/Netherlands, where we’ve settled quite nicely :D It took us god damn 10 hours to drive all the way down here, only because stupid Hamburg was closed because of the G20 top meeting. Therefore there was immense queues all the way from the danish border to Hamburg and around it. Should have taken us 7 hours to get down here, but we were stuck for so long on our way down here that it took us an extra 3 hours! So I’m exhausted today, since I’ve been sitting in a car, that is way too small for a guy of my height, so my legs couldn’t fit at all. But that’s all the past now, and I look forward to a really awesome and exciting vacation with my girlfriend’s family and traveling friends! So we were sitting around in the sofa and just chatting when I realised, that since it was dark out, and the lights in here did all the lighting, caused the shadows of this table to be EXTREMELY obvious and easy to observe, so I thought that I’d take a stab at it, and see how well I did. So I’m kind of satisfied how my shadows turned out, but still unsatisfactory with how my perspective and length ratios panned out. So still a lot to improve on, but I also rediscovered a lot today! I think that that will be a wrap for today, and this week’s work, so I’m (hopefully) going to follow up with two more sketches tomorrow, since this is actually friday, and the start of sketch week number 3. Sketch #11 Hello again my peeps! So today was finally day the day that we left for the netherlands, and in the car I decided to draw the door next to me. I’ve kind of realised lately that I haven’t been using guidelines/shapes quite enough to help me get my perspective and dimensions line correct, so i was kind of dissapointed with this sketch, since it’s perspective and lines are kind of weird. So I hope I will improve on this quickly, because my imperfections are really annoying me lately! Still trying to tackle the whole “how to make shadows properly” issue, and therefore, my focus shifts from rather well placed guidelines, to trying to make some okay shadows(which I totally fail at, and it annoys me like hell!) Hope you guys don’t hate this sketch as much as I do! One more to go! Cheerio!

Sketch #10 Hello again folks! So after getting home again from Copenhagen with my girlfriend, we went to her parents place, because we were going to travel to Amsterdam with her family and friends. So we spent the night at their place, and we were watching some kind of boring show, and I was searching for a subject to draw, so this SONOS box caught my eye, so that was the subject of my boredom yesterday! Sketch #9 Hello people! So I arrived at my girlfriends place in Copenhagen, and had a really lovely time. By tuesday we went to the funpark called Tivoli, and tried out lots of awesome and fun rollercosters and things, and got the biggest ice creams to munch on! Was such a great day! By the time I got home, I was so exhausted from all the adrenaline that had pumped through my veins the entire day, that all I could do, was just make a sketch. So this is my girlfriend’s (Nina) bedside table lamp. Have fun out there guys! 3 to go! Cheerio

Sketch #8 Hey guys! So I just realised, I haven’t been posting for over 7 days now :O And I’m really ashamed that i haven’t done anything for really long, so what I am going to do today, is post 5 sketches, that I made over the course of the last week, since i have been really really busy! So this one is a sketch of a reverse/stop light from a renault car, that was parked in front of me on the ferry ride to Copenhagen. I was going to visit my girlfriend for a couple of days, so that is primarily the reason why I haven’t been posting. 4 more to go!

Sketch #7 I finally made it! Sketch number seven. One week has gone, and it went really fast, I’m quite surprised! But I am glad, because on sunday, I’m lucky enough to spend at least 2 weeks with my girlfriend in a row! And I haven’t been able to see her the past month, since we’ve both have had exams, and have been very busy with University-stuff. Anyhow, this is a sketch of a camera stand, that was just lying around in my old room at my parents’ house. Thought it might be an okay subject for my sketching, so that was what I went ahead and documented. Thanks for following me throughout the week, if you did that, and I’ll surely keep going, until I am a master of sketching! Cheerio

Sketch #6 Hey guys! Sorry I forgot to put some sketches up yesterday, but I made 2 right before I went to bed, I just didn’t get around to uploading them. So today you guys will possibly get 3 of my sketches 😲😲 I’m hoping to make a montage of the last week, to show them with some sound and all. I had gone to my parent’s place, so I fell over this thing, and decided, that it what it’s turn to be drawn. See you guys in the next post! Cheerio :D

Sketch #5 Hey again people, sorry that I forgot to put a sketch up yesterday, but I had a really uneventful day, which meant that I was in a total coma-state yesterday. I was doing nothing but watching suits the entire day, and went out for a run tool, but it was truly a “nothing” day.. I hope you like today’s sketch, it is(for those of you who can’t spot what it is) a lamp that I have beside my bed. I really love this lamp, because it emits such a cozy kind of light. It’s in the very warm part of the light spectrum, and this way gives my room a very calm and nice atmosphere. Enough about my lamps, hope you like it, and since I didn’t post anything yesterday, I’ll make a sketch later today! Cya fellas. Cheerio

Sketch #4 Hello again there people! This time I wanted to make a less demanding sketch, and just turn back to my mundane desktop objects. The thing you are seeing here is called a Blue Snowball. This is a microphone, that I acquired some time ago, since I didn’t want to jump onto the gaming headset wave, so I took the expensive way out. Therefore, I bought an expensive pair of headset(Sennheiser Momentum, will probably be sketching those as well, at some point), and bought myself a microphone, this way, the a gamer and the audiophile inside me both got their ways. Enough about myself, hope you guys don’t mind my small bits of biography outtakes, but I like to tell a little bit of story of all the things I’m sketching too 😊😊 See you guys tomorrow! Cheerio

Okay guys, so it seems I can’t stop now! I have decided to sketch everything within my vicinity, so you’re probably going to see a lot of stuff, that you’ll usually locate at a desktop, being drawn in the near future. So this is why I sketched my PS3 controller today. I use this quite often actually, when I am playing games on my computer, that I prefer to play with a controller. I just recently started playing AC Black Flag, so you guys might even see some sketches from that world, if I find myself inspired in that direction. Hope you like the video, I myself, think this timelapse feature is awesome :D Cheerio

Okay so I am going to start a new project, in attempt to surely improve my sketching and drawing skills. I will post at least one timelapse of me making a sketch, every day, for at least a month. This way I’ll make a compilation in the end of the month, to see, if I in fact have inproved, over that period of time. So I am starting today, Saturday the 24th of June (although I haven’t gone to bed yet, so this one will actually be counted as the sketch for Friday the 23rd), posting my first sketch. This sketch, is the charger for my iPad(on which i actually made this sketch), and I figured it was a good start. Hope anyone is interested in following me, to witness me become (hopefully) significantly better at sketching. Even tho this is for personal gains, it would still be a pleasure to have some people to comment and give me feedback on my do’s and don’ts. Thanks for your patience and attention 😊 //Mabdesaken
