She's completely taken off guard. You sure as hell didn't sound like you were joking, and she was good enough at reading people to know when you were pulling some stupid joke.
Nicole didn't know if she should be happy this was one of those times you were dead serious, given the request.

Verdict: Evelyn would never do this if you weren't so serious, but if it'll lead to whatever predicament this is to an end, so be it.
(Burnice) "Woaaaah-ho! Drink too much Nitro-fuel there?"
She laughs at first before it awkwardly trails off, realizing you weren't bursting into laughter with her.
(Burnice) "W-What's up? Wait, is something going down!?"
Burnice quickly grabs some nitro-fuel and chugs it down. After wiping her mouth she flips down her sunglasses-

Surprising you completely, Cissia had replied no to your text, immediately making you raise an eyebrow. Either someone had just kidnapped Cissia and was doing a terrible impersonation, or she had already devoured what you had at home....Of course, you just went ahead and ordered an extra meal, just to be safe.
The moment you came through the door, Cissia almost pounced on you, sniffing the fast food with an excited expression. Before she could drool over the bag, you gently put shoved her back with a single finger.
"I thought you weren't hungry," Your voice was rather unamused, but she either didn't notice or care enough to point it out as she nuzzled against your cheek, not even trying to hide the fact she was eyeing your food.

You sighed, but this wasn't exactly surprising...Know what? Time for a trust test. Though, you already knew what the answer was going to be.
"I'm going to change clothes real quick, then come back down to eat." You gave her a smile and set the bag on the counter.
"Okaaaay~" She waved you off, waiting until you walked around the corner.
The only reason why all your meal wasn't gone was because you came downstairs to watch her unwrap your food at honestly an impressive speed. Until she made eye contact with you.
"AH." Her fangs were visible as her mouth went slack jawed, and her arms quickly dropped everything and attempted to put it back in the bag. It was such a blur of movement you swore you could see afterimages, ending with her innocently putting her hands behind her back.
"They forgot your fries! I was just checking to make sure so you could enjoy yourself right away!" ...It didn't take long for her to sigh and immediately leap over to you. "I'M SORRY! AS SOON AS I SMELLED THE FRIES I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF!-"
You just laughed, making her recoil back in shock. Were you snapping?! WERE YOU GOING TO FINALLY PUT AN END TO HER?!-

"Bought myself an extra bag, don't worry." Your hand reached for your car keys while you heard Cissia sigh in complete relief.

"Yyyyoink!" Belle snatches one of your fries shamelessly, eating it as you made eye contact.
"I thought you didn't want anything," Your eyebrow raise did nothing to deter your girlfriend. She even had the gall to lean closer into you, stealing another one!
"I didn't want a meal, but I want some snacks!"
"There's like, five bags of chips nearby-"
"Yeah, but they're not fries! Besides, one or two being taken won't kill ya."
You knew better than to be shocked. She was a little gremlin when it came to food like this anyway. 'Girlfriend privelege' as she called it. Your hoodies and side foods were all property of Belle now.

"You're right, we deserve nothing but the best cuisine in fast food, Astra," You laughed alongside Astra, though you noticed she grabbed one more. "...I thought you didn't like it?"
"I never said that! The taste is a little addicting, to be honest!"

"I'm surprised you can eat so much of those..." Evelyn's comment has a hint of shock in it.
"Eh, it's just something to fill the stomach up. Honestly, should've gotten something that the two of us could enjoy."

"If it's more fast food, I think I'll pass."
"Come ooooon, a fry or two won't hurt!" You pushed the cup of fries to her, watching Evelyn chuckle in response.

So this is gonna be from a fandom I've made something for but a verse I actually do enjoy
PJO Athena with a human husband
l can't stop thinking about Athena having a human spouse, a husband in particular~
So~ Athena met her husband, most likely at either college or a library, while pretending to just be a human, I think the library is probably more likely. At first, they were only acquaintances, which quickly grew into a friendship, and eventually Athena fell for him hard, like really hard. And Athena, ever so logical, knows that it's incredibly stupid to sit on your feelings for someone or to delay as anyone could come and snatch you up, so she confessed to feelings and identity to him
There's a incredibly high chance that Athena would grant her husband immortality, seeing as while Athena actually has had interest in others in the past, she never actually outright fallen in love before. So she wants to not only be with him forever but also cherish this feeling forever.
From a Athena post I saw in the past, I like the idea of her husband's home being a safe haven for Athena's children and those that said husbands grant permission to take shelter.
So imagine that Percy, Annabeth and Grover or thalia if it's before the titans curse are running from monsters and guess whose house is in the area?~ Athena decides to assist Annabeth telling her where to go and direct them towards his house
Annabeth's reaction would be pretty amusing after finding out that the house they are in going to be staying in belongs to her mother's husband, which makes you her stepfather
I think little annabeth would feel awkward or uncomfortable which is understandable. Added onto the fact Athena's husband is not only welcoming towards her and is very kind if not overly energetic
He'd definitely be friendly and kind towards Percy and Grover if not fatherly to a degree which I feel Percy would find awkward given how few good male role models he has in his life
I feel like to all the children belonging to the Athena cabin He'd absolutely be like a second father to them or a parent in general. And thanks to his immortality and connection to athena he's allowed to go to camp half blood and he visits quite frequently.
Now I think a key point in what made Athena fall for husband is definitely his personality. As we know Athena has a type for those who are intelligent. Thing is he's quite a curve ball since while he is intelligent he's also a ball of energy and affection who has a habit of doing downright idiotic things. It's just a massive contrast to others who caught her interest. Since they had varying degrees of eccentricity, they were never ones who were so extroverted and energetic. Not only did he not shy away from contact with others he'd actually enjoy it and frequently liked being around others. And despite his intelligence loved engaging in activities that would be viewed as mundane or stupid by others who would be considered geniuses. I think having that amount of passion,life and emotion despite being so intelligent is something that would definitely hit her differently.
(ZZZ) Anby, Nicole, Zhu Yuan, and Caesar King reacting to their S/O hugging them while asleep
"...Ah." Anby softly grunts when she feels S/O's weight shift onto her. While unused to this sensation, it certainly wasn't unpleasant.
Their arms wrapped around her waist before yanking them slowly closer, feeling them nuzzle their head against the back of her neck.
"...This is just like one of the scenes..." Anby quietly commented to herself. They had both watched a romantic comedy recently, and this scene played out almost exactly like that. But, there had yet to be any comically loud snoring.
Instead, there was just a comfortable silence that made Anby's face heat up slightly. Anby decided this was preferable than having the scene play out 1 to 1. She shifted closer so she could be hugged tighter, and resumed her sleep.
There were no complaints, that's for sure.
"Tch, seriously...?" Nicole grumbles. Not because she hated the feeling, it was mostly cause she was woken up by it, feeling their hands snake across her stomach.
At first, Nicole thought they were just getting handsy, and being fair she knows that she was gorgeous and they had free reign to praise her so. But it was like, 2am in the morning!
...Until she realized they were still asleep and just holding her closer. Her heart raced a little at that, chuckling quietly and resting her head back into the pillows.
"Even when you're passed out, you still can't get enough of me, huh?~"
Nicole shifted around to hold them back, making sure they couldn't move anymore as her legs locked them in.
Perfect. Now, back to getting some sleep. Cute as this was the first time, if she was going to be waken up again, S/O was going to pay for it.

Only to realize it was S/O shifting in their sleep. She couldn't help but sigh, even in the privacy of their bed, she was still getting antsy. Zhu Yuan was jolted back into an alert state the moment she felt S/O slowly shift on top of her.
"H-Hey, S/O? You awake?" She received no response, only their arm lazily snaking their way around her back as their head snuggled into her chest. As much as this flustered Zhu Yuan, it also made her heart melt that much more.
A smile grew on her lips as she comfortably readjusted them so she could sleep too, making sure they were still holding onto her in some capacity. Getting into position proper, Zhu Yuan had their head rest on her shoulder as she laid flat, snuggling them closer to her chest as she grabbed their hand and let it rest near her waist.
She closed her eyes and mentally wished them good night.
'I'm lucky to have you, S/O...' She kissed the top of their head and drifted back to sleep within a few minutes.
PANIC
Caesar was mentally screaming the moment she realized what was going on. This was EXACTLY like her romance manga, and it was finally happening to her! This was so much better than she ever could have imagined! They were so cute, she wanted to explode!
That being said, Caesar also wanted to explode from how flustered she was. All her time reading and wishing for this exact scenario, and now that it was happening all her preset plans were thrown out the window.

The rest of the Cunning Hares mercifully left you two be, and eventually you did manage to drift off with her, snuggling closer to your lap with every second passing.

Sinking into the hot water made you exhale in relief. It had been a long day, but thankfully the commission was finally done, meaning you and the rest of the Cunning Hares could celebrate. But first things first, you needed to relax. And you wouldn't be alone-
"Pardon me," Anby's calm voice came along. She sat in the tub with you, the water softly splashing and you saw her shoulders relax.
Originally, you offered to run a bath for her to take alone. But she was quick to bring up the point that this would save water. While true, it was still a little embarassing to be this close.
Then again, you two had been close for a long time to where little things like this wouldn't short circuit your brain anymore, instead just a small blush would form, and you'd get along mostly fine. The same went for Anby as she just sank further into the water.
And in her hand was...a rubber duck?
"Anby? Where'd you grab the duck?" You definitely didn't recall getting one before. Did she just have that on her?
"Nekomata recommended it to me. She said that it would make times for bathing more enjoyable." Her eyes seemed to narrow at the bath toy.
"...I-Is that right?"
"I do not believe so. Your presence alone is enough for this moment to be considered pleasant." Anby set the duck on the side, and turned back to face you.
You chuckled as you gestured her to come closer, and without much hesitation she put her back onto you. You began washing her hair, and you felt Anby lean further into your touch as you massaged her scalp.
"Well, I'm glad me just sitting here is enough for you." You splashed some water onto her silver hair, making sure not to accidentally hit her face.
"No matter what we do, I find myself...calmed as long as you're with me," came her honest and stoic answer. "Such as right now."
You'd kiss her right now if the angle wasn't so awkward. Oh well, that could come later.
"...Me too, Anby.~" Finally satisfied with the shampoo, you thoroughly washed out her hair. Afterwards you just held her in your arms with Anby in your lap, smiling and relaxing in the hot water.
You felt her hands gently hold your wrists, taking the time and just enjoying yourselves. Soon you'd have to get out, probably have one chaotic ass dinner, then promptly pass out. But right now? It was just you and Anby, and you wanted to keep it this way for at least a little longer.
The way she closed her eyes and rested her head against your chest told you she wanted the same.

Zhu Yuan sighed as the shower ran down her hair, standing and just letting the water hit her skin. She didn't bother to look up when she heard you gently open the bathroom door.
"Hey, YuanYuan~" You sang out her name, letting the towels rest on the counter.
Your girlfriend smiled at the nickname, her face only getting a little red upon you entering. Her hand rubbed circles on the back of her neck, but she still turned around to greet you properly through the glass.
"Hello, dear," Zhu Yuan thankfully didn't sound too tired.
"Day go alright?" You asked as you took your shirt off, with Zhu Yuan already stepping aside to make room for you as well.
You remembered the first time you two shared a shower, you swore that Zhu Yuan was going to have a heart attack with how fast hers was beating. Nowadays, it was one of the little things you two did that she grew to look forward to.
"As well as it could, considering," She responded while grabbing some soap. "Thankfully right now it's mainly paperwork to fill out, and I'm hoping it's going to stay that way."
You stepped in finally, hugging her from behind and feeling Zhu Yuan slightly lean into your hold.
"Good, you deserve the break." You kissed the back of her shoulder and you felt her lightly tense up from it. Though, it was quick to disappear as your arms moved to wash her hair for her. "I'll kick every criminal's ass in this city if they refuse to let my darling sit down."
She let out a small laugh as your fingers straightened her long hair, opening her eyes and seeing your blurry reflection in the glass as she responded.
"What you're doing now is enough for me, (Y/N)-" Zhu Yuan didn't get to finish her sentence as your arms snaked around her waist and you kissed the back of her neck.
This time, she properly shuddered as you whispered fondly, pressing yourself into her back.
"Nope, I need to do even more. It's what you deserve."
She lifted your arms for a moment before facing you, water dripping down her smiling face as she leaned in to kiss you. When she pulled back, she motioned for you to turn around so she could do your hair as well.
"I'm not sure I even deserve you, but...I'm glad you're here in my life."
"Who else is going to embarrass you in front of the other officers and your parents?~"
Zhu Yuan playfully rolled her eyes at that, and the two of you just quietly chatted about your day as you two washed each other.
"Aaaah, this is exactly what I needed!" Grace sank into the tub, laughing at your yelp as the water splashed around.
"Grace, stand still! Can't get all this stuff off ya if you move like that."
"Sorry, sorry!" She apologized with a smile on her face, closing her eyes as she felt the sweat of today finally be washed off.
She let out a small moan as she felt their fingers massage around her neck and chest the tension fading away.
"Jeez, what were you working on today?" You probably knew the answer already, but you still couldn't help but ask. With how stiff her neck was this was getting a little ridiculous!
"Just the kids, y'know, the usual," Grace sighed as your hands moved around her arms, rubbing soap on them. "Had to get them really worked up today."
You smiled a little. You knew she was crazy about her technology, especially your 'children'. Her coming home with sweat, grime, and all sorts of oils probably shouldn't come as any surprise.

I want to let you know, I would've had this imagine done in like three minutes but I went on a forty minute side-quest to figure out how Chinese nicknames work, and even then I'm still not sure if this is correct.

Zhu Yuan was in the middle of organizing some of the piles of paperwork when Seth softly knocked on her desk, grabbing her attention.
"Captain? I think someone's here to see you." Judging by the light-hearted smile on his face, she could tell this wasn't related to work. Meaning it had to be-
"YuanYuan!~" Your nickname for her being called out for everyone in the office to hear caused your girlfriend to nearly drop all her papers in shock.
Zhu Yuan loudly cleared her throat and stood up, with Seth respectfully giving her some distance. She attempted to regain her composure for everyone watching-

You turned around and set the vase next to the bouquet, and flashed one more loving smile before quickly making your way out of the office so Zhu Yuan could focus back on work.

From everything I gathered, its one of 2 things:
1. It's supposed to be something an officer can use to drag any wounded to safety, as some other officers have it ingame.
2. It could be something similar to a rope or zipline handle.
It's a cool detail honestly that her uniform has that but uh...Y'know, anime girl designs makes it look rather VERY questionable lmao.

Zhu Yuan tied her hair back as she adjusted her uniform. Nodding to herself in the mirror, she fit her gloves on and was about to head out.
Before she could, she heard S/O's footsteps, and for a moment, her expression softened. The door gently swung open to a yawning S/O, giving her a smile as they approached.
"Morning," Zhu Yuan's head tilted as her eyes followed S/O while doing a few last minute checkups. "Sleep well?"
"Mhm," came S/O's tired response. "You going already?"
She froze up for a moment when S/O hugged her from behind, but she quickly relaxed into their hold as her hands held theirs.

The way their voice sounded, she didn't anticipate the question to be super serious but-

Zhu Yuan's eyes shot wide open as her face began to grow red hot. At the angle they were holding her, they clearly had a proper view of her uniform. But since they asked that question, she knew exactly where their gaze was-
She immediately spun around, breaking free of their hug and frowning as her voice threatened to crack.
"S/O! That is incredibly inappropriate!" Zhu Yuan chided. "First of all, it's not on my butt!" She tried to shift to the side the moment they focused on the mirror's reflection, causing her hands to cover her back. "Second of all, this is standard issue! Every officer is required to have these in case of emergencies, and to help with law enforcement!"
"Everyone gets these...?" They asked again, making Zhu Yuan sigh.
"Yes, everyone. With how tall I am it just happens to be on my lower back." They didn't seem to be teasing at the very least, making her answer come off a lot more naturally than it otherwise would have.
And then they smiled at her.
"You make it look really cool at least!"
Cool? Well, at least that was a compliment she was okay with-
"And a bit sexy too~-"
S/O saw Zhu Yuan cross her arms, face flushing red from anger and embarrassment.
"...I'm going to work now." Her eyes narrowed.
"Hah, alright. Stay safe, okay?" They leaned in for a kiss.
Zhu Yuan had half a mind to just walk out immediately but...she couldn't do that to them. She just sighed before leaning in for a smooch, giving one last half-smile before walking out.

"Captain, is everything okay? Your face is a bit red-" Seth asked before Zhu Yuan immediately interjected-
"Yes, it's just the heat outside, had to rush a little to get here too. Anyways, let's get to work-"
