claws only, no talons please

i can honestly say my life would literally not be the same without it. i made the silly post above in january of last year and noticed a reblog with a short, simple hashtag that somehow still made me feel very seen & understood. so much so that i worked up the nerve to message the person and thank them. the chatting just naturally grew and continued from there

and now i'm sitting in the apartment we moved into at the beginning of this month with @mossheartlesbian's cat curled up in my lap, a catradora poster on the wall across from me as i reflect on how completely insane & wonderful it is to have found each other the way we did.

I know what month we're in, and I wanted to celebrate it too

June 1st is my birthday, and it's also Pride Month — a time to celebrate love, identity, and happiness

At this point, I think my love for girls was written in the stars considering when I was born

So here's a drawing of our favorite girls with a beautiful Pride flag in the background and another fun take on them

And honestly? Catra could probably get away with anything when it comes to Adora. That girl is hopelessly gay XD

Hello, I am tired! This is today’s comic. 

This is inspired by me watching this video, laughing my ass off at the pained scream which happens when mermista and wrong hordak pull her hair, and then feeling a bit guilty . 

It’s also inspired by me wanting to write Catra and Entrapta interacting because I love them.  

It’s also inspired by a story I read where Hordak became a medic because mad science lends itself to injury. 

It’s also inspired by me freaking out whenever I was around people when lockdown first lifted, and having no idea why, until my friends pulled me aside and said, “Tipsy, it’s OK to not be OK, but please Communicate instead of panicking and running from stores”. The good news is I got over that problem pretty quickly with their support.   

And finally I got to draw in like 5 different art styles, some I haven’t touched in ten years, which I suppose lends itself to how easy the She-Ra style is to adapt. Homestuck was also easy to adapt, but I was a much worse artist back then.
