So a bit of backstory 'cus I love to yap.

I think I've said this before, but the dakimakura as a concept has always been funny to me. It's like peak cringe activity, and I've always liked the idea of having one as a "joke". The joke is usually just that it's a kind of unpopular character (or in the case of the Kun3h0 dakimakura, it is deliberately unsexy unless you're objectum.)

But, I just could not justify putting in that much effort into a gag, so I've been sitting on this idea until I finally found a character that would still read as a joke, but that I still genuinely liked enough to be comfortable owning for an extended period of time.

And then Dishy consumed my soul. I don't know how well it comes across in my sporadic posts, but Dishy has become a very meaningful character to me. Moreso than almost every other blorbo I've had in the past. Besides just what he represents as a character, he is also a marker for some major turning points in my life that I don't want to forget. So I finally decided that "he was the one" for this project.

I worked with my buddy m2rs0 to get this together. It was a commission, so I gave a lot of the direction, but she's the one who really brought this thing to life~ I absolutely adore the results, and I'm glad to have him to just chill with me~
