I thought RE3 was infuriating but this was another level like omg. I constantly forgot that I can't really dash/evade hits unless it's stated on screen and kept getting hit cause I got used to this mechanic in RE3. I liked Ashley a lot but JESUS CHRIST was it annoying to have her with. I wish I could've just put her in my inventory or something cause idk if I did something wrong or if she's just like that but she kept running in front of me so I shot her a few times,she kept running around when enemies were around no matter what I did,and she kept getting picked up and shi. The most annoying thing in this whole game was the fucking fire tho. Like omg

I tried playing the original but,on god guys,it's unplayable. Or I,at least,do not have the patience to learn the controls. I'm sure once I get used to em it's not that bad but for now I'm gonna look forward to RE4 probably.

Anyway,as I said,I liked the game...

BUT

I was angry the whole game long,I genuinely can't remember when something irritated me as much as this forsaken game.

I'm gonna rant about some things and especially the nemesis now because,after a while it just felt like they were taking the piss

1.why in gods name do we have the option to "run" but said action then accumulates to nothing more but a light jog,if even that.

2.also why did Jill keep just looking back at it instead of gunning it.I get they probably wanted some cool epic cutscenes but dear god was it annoying after a while. You don't need to go "omg there he is" Fifteen times after realising he is in fact only after you. Like c'mon

3.it was also really annoying that they kept making it seem like the nemesis was defeated,one or two times,ok.But it felt like it was at least five times they pulled this.

4. The nemesis is ridiculous and I'm probably just saying that because I was oh so bad at fighting it every time. I get the mutation and regeneration thing,it's cool yeah and I get why it didn't die after the bath in the laboratory thing BUT BRO. I foolishly thought it WOULD die there and was like "finally" then I walk where Nikolai(that asshat) was and then this gloopy mf comes crashing through the wall.

-I was really glad that you low-key didn't really have to fight fight it cause of the big ol' gun there. For a moment I thought I'd have to and I was about to run into traffic ngl. I would not have done that,would've called it quits right there.

Even here I wasn't sure if it was actually dead now,until I got the achievement notification lmao😭
