He lost his parents, his entire clan, every single person he cared about. The person he trusted the most his own brother was the one who slaughtered them!.. He was forced to relive that massacre over and over again, enough to break most adults, and he was just a child!
Then he finds out his whole life was basically built on lies The reason he lived for, the reason he wanted revenge, dies Then he gets betrayed by his own village And after all that, these fans still want Sasuke to suffer For what exactly? Because he rejected Sakura? Because he was rude to her?
Sakura didn't go through even half of what Sasuke went through, yet some people act like she's the real victim in this situation. They want Sasuke begging for forgiveness, suffering for her, apologizing to her. For what? Not returning her feelings?
And that's why, in my opinion, a lot of SS fans are just Sasuke-obsessed Sakura fans!
Because this whole ship is mostly based on Sakura's POV, not Sasuke's. The discussions are always about her feelings, her suffering, what she wants, what she deserves. I rarely see people asking what Sasuke wants or looking at things from his perspective.
I almost never see SS fans criticize Sakura's actions, but I sure see plenty criticizing Sasuke. They ignore her faults while blaming him for everything and acting like she was always too good for him.
By refusing to take rejection as rejection?
By comparing her loneliness to the trauma of losing his entire family?
By constantly focusing on how she feels while barely trying to understand how he feels?
Or maybe by deciding the best way to help him was to kill him?
Doing literally nothing to see things from his perspective, but somehow he's the bad guy for not centering his life around her feelings?
What exactly did Sakura do that makes some fans act like Sasuke owes her ?
For saving him? Because he saved her multiple times too!
Or for being obsessed with him? Since when did having a crush on someone automatically make them owe you something?
