They insisted on getting clothes and jewelry from various niche brands. Basically, if ZZ wore something, WYB’s team would definitely ask for it a few days later, and if WYB wore something, ZZ’s team would insist a few days later. Even if they didn't have it, they wanted it; it had to be exactly the same. Once they even wore the same pair of pants. They were really insistent on getting the same items. 5. I just wanted to talk about their semi-public relationship within the industry.

I used to work in the industry. Since I went to an art school, many of my classmates were in the industry. I first learned about them in 2019, which is relatively early. It was trending on Weibo at the time, and I clicked to see what it was like. I didn't think their relationship was bad, just a little strange. We even discussed it in our dorm room—whether they were good or bad friends—and concluded that they couldn't just be colleagues.

Later, my college roommate interned at a production company. After she came back, she suddenly said to me: "My God, do you know who's really dating?" I said, "Are you crazy?" She said it was a producer at her company who said it, and even said they lived in the same building (now I think it must be JMF). I got really curious because I'd never seen a real gay person in the Chinese entertainment industry before. That night I spent all night watching their posts and officially became a fan.

Later, I found a job in the industry myself. I can only say this: if you even slightly reveal your fandom, someone will suddenly ask you in casual conversation, "Oh, you like him? Hey, do you know if he and so-and-so are really dating?" "Did you know they were really dating before you started liking him?" There are just so many things like this, starting from the very beginning...

But more than that, I'm glad that they're actually dating. They have a great reputation in the industry; they're hardworking, responsible, and punctual. Especially since someone praised XZ in front of me for being incredibly empathetic towards her staff. You know, we workers in the industry sometimes feel like we're being bossed around by some artists' teams, but a friend of mine who works on IP adaptations has worked with XZ on many projects. She said that of all the artists she's met, XZ is the first one she thought was a big star, but she always greets the staff very politely. And the other day at the script meeting, it seemed like there weren't enough chairs, and XZ instinctively stood up to offer her a seat, almost scaring my friend to death! She said, "What have I done to deserve this?!"

But both of them are truly very kind and gentle people, so everyone in the industry knows they're dating and treats them with respect and blessings. Working in the industry for so long can really make you numb to celebrities, but every time I hear positive reviews from friends in the industry, or occasionally someone say they're still dating, I suddenly realize they're just ordinary couples, working hard to earn money and loving each other sincerely. Just knowing that makes me feel incredibly happy.
