It wasn't abnormal for Taylor to find himself inside the coffee shop, it was the only place to get good coffee around the town and he could never really figure out how to make it just as good at home. He had been scanning the room since he walked into the joint, taking a mental note of each customer and worker in the joint. The man always liked to know who his audience was. His attention being drawn to a yelp behind him, not being able to stop himself from peeking over his shoulder at where it came from. "No, of course I have." He chuckled for a moment, turning himself to face her fully now. "I just expected you to be seriously hurt or something by how pronounced it was.
Lyla was already having a rough day and the burning hot coffee being sent down her throat wasn't planned. She should've checked it beforehand but the women was too busy scanning the room, trying to keep an eye on her surroundings. Since Sydney's death the girl has been a bit paranoid and rightfully so. When she realized who's voice it was, Lyla finally looked up and groaned "I thought you weren't speaking to me?" Closing her notebook and placing her pen on it, Lyla looked up at him. It's been a minute since she's been with Taylor and to say the brunette missed him was an understatement. "Now all the sudden because I said the word fuck you are? We did that once, remember?" Lyla bit down hard on her lips, she had no idea what she was doing but in all honestly the women didn't care anymore.
