It literally just clicked that on the ark bell/clarke (i dont rmbr which one) said that there wasn’t peace until they parted ways with the 13th colony. And then with the grounders there was 12 divisions with skycrew being the 13th and the weren’t able to achieve peace until they moulded into a single colony under Octavia. History repeats, kind of.

Jroth said that relatioinships will change bc of the time they spent apart. But Clarke’s attachment to Bellamy doesn’t seem like it’s shifted, if anything it seems more apparent than ever. So does that mean that Bellamy’s allegiance to her has changed because of the split? Bc if yes then that means we get another slow burn of bellarke re-learning each other and falling in love which will inevitably happen (and bellamy falling in love with his new family)

No matter what, this separation aspect is a good thing for Bellamy. If anything, season 3 showed that he’d become too dependent on Clarke for his decision-making. This season has been all about Bellamy learning how he truly thinks, how he can lead and make his own choices. Bellamy and Clarke will always match each other as head and heart but he won’t need Clarke in the quite the same way anymore. That sounds bad but instead, their relationship won’t be out of necessity. He’ll want her. He’ll choose her.
