brave justice, aka nathaniel adams: his design is purposely very basic and not at all magical boy-esque, because he is a fan of superheroes and comic books rather than mahou shoujo. therefore, his idea of a magical boy is vague, and the most 'magical' thing about his is the stars along the face. his clothes are a size or two too big for him as well, but due to the use of wind powers, it allows him a lot of free movement!

charming justice, aka nate adams: for him, i went more 'jibanyan gijinka', though i did take minor inspiration from cure wing. his hair is the only one to fully change colour as he would know that magical girl/boy trope because of hailey-anne! the ribbons behind him are tied to an actual bow, though they link to the 'belt' to mirror jibanyans outfit - he has ankle boots, like his peers, and white stockings of a very similar colour. the necklace gem around his neck is non-functional, it purely serves decorative elements.

slippery justice, aka lucy adams: absent details on her design (due to the focus on just translating basic colours/clothing) are shells in her platform boots and textured scales on her legs. her design is the most magical of all six on purpose, as she is meant to symbolise the young, hopeful maidens who look to this media as proof they can fight and be cute at the same time. the rainbow colours on her skirt fluff are meant to be like coral. around her neck is her transformative marble, which she has to tap in order to summon the protective bubbles. she also keeps her very big forehead because its a charm of her design, id argue!

katie forester: for her, i wanted her outfit to be the most basic as she was the newest one to be brought into this gothic-lolita vibe, which is why she has the most skin showing and the least gothic lolita dress. absent details include lace and frills on the actual dress, and the web patterns would be a lot better done on an actual chord (cord? im not well versed in fashion terms!). her ribbons are to mirror nate, as she would be the 'charming justice' of her universe if not for the corruption - as the corruption is very new, these little details are yet to fully vanish. the purple strands in her hair behave like wild flames, hence their wild appearances.

kelly forester: absent details include lace patterns and actual patterns on her dress. the bow around her head is both meant to make her appear childlike and quiet, which is the contrarian persona forced upon her (as her actual personality would be the opposite), but also to conceal the marble around her neck (like lucy). her dress has cloud 'buttons' (non-functional) to allude to her partner. unlike lucy, she does not have a mermaidyn - i gave her badsmella or smogmella, as the enraenra is a typically harmless youkai only for the pure of heart to see, and ive often envisioned kelly to have that more open streak of justice which conceal a softer interior (where lucy has more traditionally feminine traits, but i can imagine she would be open to messing around with nathaniel and playfighting).
