of course i'll always have love for family, friends, and the love of my life jmikey! <3 <3 <3 so aside from the given obvious, here's my list:

eating yummy food! i'm such a fat kid at heart! actually i'm such a fatass on the outside too lol!! there's just so many yummy food out there and i wanna try them all! it's so bad that both me and my bf are foodies, coz we never reach our goal to lose weight lol!! we love to try out new restaurants, try different cuisines, and we love restaurant week!!!

electronics! i'm not an electronics buff nor do i know a lot of techie stuff, but i love playing with gadgets!! i can't live without my phone. i don't know a lot about photography, but i love playing with cameras - i have a digital camera, a waterproof camera, and an slr of course =] i like browsing engadget et al. hmmm the only thing is video games. i wish i knew more about them, and i wish i play them more =\ but growing up, i didn't have the luxury of having video games stuff so i never grew up to be such a gamer.

back massages from my bf! massage oil is one of my best friends. and so are my bf's hands. hahaha! omg! they work magic! i have an old lady back and i love love love getting back massages!!! my bf claims he used to suck but he gives me backgasms like no other! haha!!! i'm pretty good myself so i think my skills must've rubbed off on him then haha! hmm and oddly enough, i haven't gone to a spa! i think they're just too frikkin expensive!!! but someday when we're on vacay and i have money to waste, id love to spoil me and the hubby with a couple's massage or something ;D

sleeeeeep! i explained this in my day 1 list already. but yeah, i love sleeping!!! right now, weather's crappy and it's raining outside! perfect weather to sleep!

a good laugh! who doesn't like to laugh?? i love watching comedies! my current favorite shows are the big bang theory (sheldon!!!), how i met your mother (barney!!!), and modern family. the most recent movie i've seen is horrible bosses. soooooo hilarious! i love surrounding myself with happy funny people. close to home, the people who make me laugh the most would be my niece crystal ann, my bf mike, and one of my best friends jan. and also, there's a few characters at work that always make work fun and tolerable hehe! 

anime and cartoons! i'm such a kid at heart. i'm not embarrassed to say it, and everybody knows  of it, but i still watch a great deal of kiddie shows! hahah!! i've been out of the loop with anime, but i'm still an otaku at heart! i love disney channel, cartoon network, and nickelodeon! right now, my favorite show would be phineas and ferb!!! ^__^

fall/autumn! i always have an argument about this with my friend jan, but lemme make it official here.. fall/autumn is the best season ever!!! hahah!!! it's my kind of weather. temperature is perfect! the foliage is absolutely beautiful. to rate all the seasons, my order would be fall>spring>summer>winter =] but yeah, fall ftw!!!

layers! this ties in with my love of the fall weather. i love wearing 3/4 or long sleeves, layers, sweaters, scarves, coats. there's just so many combinations!! and also it hides my fat belly!!! hahah!!!!

all in the family. I'm from a big filipino family. i'm one of 6 kids! born and raised in the pi

multilingual. i studied 4 years of french in hs, 1 year of japanese in hs, and 2 semesters of japanese in college. can i hold a simple conversation in either language? nope. haha!! but i am fluent in both english and tagalog (well it's becoming more taglish rather than tagalog recently =\) 

lifesaver. i'm a registered nurse. i work full time in a telemetry/intermediate care unit and i work per diem for an agency where i'm usually assigned in pacu. i never wanted to become a nurse, and i tried hard to avoid the stereotypical filipina nurse, but i still got sucked it. but as much as i bitch about my work, i love what i do and i'm proud of those 2 letters after my name. pauline g. palma, rn, whatupppp! 

organized slob. i'm very neat with other people's things, at work, etc... but i'm such a lazyass at home and with my own stuff >__< 

an insomniac who loves to sleep. my usual bedtime is 1-2am, even when i'm working the following morning. but no worries, i still function well even when i'm running on little sleep. but on my days off, i love to sleep in!!! there were times when i won't even see the sun haha! 

music<3lover. i love music! i don't particularly have a favorite genre, song or band/artist anymore, but i do appreciate a wide range of good music. i tend to pay attention to the music/melody more than the lyrics so i do require it to sound nice to my ears. i may be listening to angry cursing in a different language, but as long as it sounds pretty, then i'm all ears! hahaha! i took some piano and guitar lessons, but enough to jam out =\ i'm so jealous of those people who easily picks up instruments and can play by ear!! 

len the explorer. i love adventures! i love to hike, explore new places, drive around, get lost somewhere (as long as it's somewhere pretty!!!) and make it an adventure to find the way home, and there's always gps as back up lol) 

sentimental vs material. yea it's nice to have fancy material things. i do splurge now and then when i can. but at the end of day, i'd rather have something from the heart, meaningful, and with a story behind it, rather than a random bought item even if it has a crazy ass price tag. 

fatgirl status. i love food!!!! food = <3 that's really all i need to say haha! and i love it when they have restaurant week!!!

on vacation mode! yay! not missing work at all!!!

so i'm in scotland with my family for a week. visiting my eldest sis for her graduation and also celebrating her birthday today =] happy birthday and congrats again ate cess!! ^__^ it's been a cold and rainy vacation so far! yuckkkk! one would think of somewhere exotic and beautiful weather for vacation, but here we are! hahah!! i'm glad to be spending time with my family though. my dad's back home though, manning the fort! sucks he wasn't able to join us, but he's here in spirit! hehe =] wish we had the luxury of just not working and having loads of money to just vacay anywhere and anytime!

classic video!!! so after work today, chilled for a bit at home, then mike picked me up and we grabbed some drinks at cheeseburger in paradise. heh! i feel so grown up saying that! "grabbing a drink after work!" LOL!!!

so sad that the weekend's all done =[ it's been a while since i had a busy weekend! (not counting the weekends when i'm stuck at work!) sooooo, i actually have something to blog about! haha!!

well i already talked about what i did this past friday, so on to saturday!

after picking up Crystal Ann from her violin practice at Newark, she, Mike, Ate Arnee, and I headed to Times Square to check out the Super Mario 3D Land launch event at Times Square

we got there around 1:30pm, but it wasn't enough to get our hands on some freebies!!! they were giving away tanuki ears and tails, but they ran out =[ we were sooooooo disappointed! booooo!! we did get free mushroom pizzas but ehh!! i wanted the tanuki ears and tail so badly!!!! >__<

then afterwards, we walked to the rockefeller and saw the christmas tree under construction. sucks i won't be around for the tree lighting ceremony =( i hope the weather's crappy that day!!! BAHAHAHA!!! jk!! (but not really... >__<) then after that was the Nintendo World store, which was funnn!! saw my bf geeking out and just being a kid at heart heehee <3

ohhhh!! then when we left Nintendo World, there was that dude who bumped into Crystal Ann!!! it was so scary!!! he was carrying something, and then not too long after, a store staff person was chasing him! so we think that the dude stole something and that staff was chasing him down. but i grabbed Crystal Ann out of the way coz i was scared that the guy might be carrying a weapon.. i wasn't gonna do some hero shit. all i thought of that split second was that Spiderman scene when Parker let that guy go haha!! but it was a totally different scenario, and i had Crystal Ann's safety in mind! xP

so that was our new york adventure! OOOHHH!!! and on the way home, i ran into a college buddy, Lamont. that was soooo random! haha!! haven't seen that dude in YEARS!!!

but my Saturday didn't end there!!!

that night, i joined Mike and his cousins and watched the Pacquiao vs Marquez fight!

i can't speak about the fight from a boxing perspective, but from a spectator's view, it was boring! i wanted to see a lot of combos!! oh well!!! i had a lot of spicy BonChon and i almost finished a bottle of Yeungling! haha ^__^

now on to sunday!!!

had plans to hit up Sharkey's in Clifton for Sunday Football (YEAH!!!!!) but we ended up just bumming it out and watched the games at home.

soooo... boo for the Giants, but winnnn for the Patriots!! ^__^

so friday night, i hung out with my coworker maria. and we both brought our boyfriends with us. it was a lot of fun!! i haven't really hung out with coworkers. only time i've gone out with them were like dinners and stuff, but this was an actual chill hang out ^__^ 

so me, mike, maria, and her bf adam went to our first stop, which was bonchon in leonia! popped their korean wings cherries! nyahaha!!! ;D soygarlic and hot&spicy heaven in your mouth!!! nom nom nom XD~~ and then after that, we hit up shannon rose in clifton. too bad we were too early for the live band =[ we were all pooped by that time so we just called it a night. we're so old!! bahahaha!!! plus it got dark so damn early! frikkin daylight savings time!! >__< 

i missed 11:11 at 11.11.11!!! =[ oh well!! it's not the end of the world!! 

sunday. october 23, 2011. mark this day on your calendars!!! for this was the day when i, pauline g. palma, finally had my *first* *break* *steak*, all thanks to michael l. gaela, who's been raving about this legendary meaty goodness for a long time now haha! 

i've been to eight on the break before, but only for the arcade and the kitchen was already closed. and for a while now, mike's been telling me how i have to try a break steak coz it's the best thing ever and it's way better than pat's!! haha!!!

so one time, he was supposed to order one for me for takeout because i couldn't come out that night for some reason.. so he goes there with his friend, orders two breaksteaks (one for him and one for me), tells me about it, gets me all excited coz i finally get to try it, and what does he do? he eats both of them, coz they're so good LOL!! fatass <3
