Like imagine all the times Levi starts to walk away – they’re leaving the house, going their separate ways in the hospital, or just heading to bed early – and Nico grabs Levi by the waist, spins him around and pulls him close, right up against his own chest. And Levi is always, always, taken aback or surprised at the motion, looks up at Nico with a laugh and let’s out a “What?”. Nico’s hands are firm and big and it makes Levi feel so steady and safe and taken care of all at once and it’s incredible he can feel so many complicated things in the timespan of less than a second. And Nico, the slick bastard, just smiles, leans in close, maybe touches the little space between Levi’s ear and his jaw, and just whispers something, anything. It’s always something simple and effortless and it’s entirely not necessary to whisper but Nico does it anyway. And it always makes Levi melt and his entire brain just malfunctions and damn, those hands and damn Nico for making him feel like that all the time.  Just damn damn damn
