Wow. Those Facebook memories are a bitch. Two pictures taken almost exactly five years apart. I look at the picture on the left and I get angry. I see someone who thought they cared enough, but who was really taking the easy way out and slowly killing himself. On the right I see someone who is still far away from his goals, but who is a lot closer than he used to be. It all starts with one step and a determination that you will never go back to the way you used to be. Not every meal needs to be a reward. Food should be fuel not a trophy. Eat to power your body. Yes you can still treat yourself every now and then. But the person on the left did it everyday all day. And although this was a five year transformation, just look at what can happen, and what will happen over the next five years. You can do it too. You have time. It's up to you to determine how to use it. To quote the Shawshank Redemption, you can either "get busy living or get busy dying." The choice is up to you. Make the right choice.
