Actual footage of us not moving so that Monday can’t see us.
This underwater scene was captured on camera by our remotely operated vehicle Ventana at about 730 meters (2,395 feet) deep. Deep-sea animals often perch in areas like this because of the ocean currents that stream around the contours of rocky ledges of seamounts (mountains on the seafloor). The currents bring nutrients and drifting plankton to the filter feeders that thrive in these areas.
