It's not personal on Doll's side. It's just laughing with everyone else when something "funny" happens. The "funny" thing is just Uzi getting bullied.

Uzi makes note of how weird it is that Thad remembers her name and wants to talk to her. She wouldn't ignore Doll being weird and not laughing/laughing when she didn't before. It's implied by that logic that Doll laughs at the bullying when she finds it funny. And Doll found Lizzy's comment on wishing Uzi had died funny in the pilot.

It's not personal at all to Doll, but it's deeply personal to Uzi who has NOTHING and NOBODY. Not even her own father let's her get away without being bullied by him too. Not even just to her face, but in newspaper interviews too.

Literally the most socially acceptable thing in the outpost is making fun of Uzi or calling her a disappointment, or saying she's broken or damaged. She's their number one punching bag, if they remember she exists in the first place. It's notably odd when people remember her and are nice to her.

I think Doll is a very dependent Character. Needing someone else to initiate something before she adds on to the situation, like Lizzy making fun of Uzi, or hor parents dying, something to push her drive.

Its WHY its so sad that Yeva and Nori could get along but not Uzi and Doll, since Uzi is usually somebody who fends for herself and indicates meaningful scenarios, while Doll is a great supporter. (Mass destruction could have very much gone better if they teamed up)

The way Yeva supported Nori could have been them, but alas, she becamr a bully and died. RIP.

To be fair, I honestly do believe that Doll could have had a redemption arc (even though liam is not the best at writing those see figure 1, V) she was a silent enforcer of Uzis suffering and never got to mend the relationship that 'could have been' so sad.

Personally I think Doll didnt care that much to Uzi at first, only later when they had something in common she tried to reach out.
