       I really need to be active on Melody, too, afkdl;g

       It’s Easter! And while it’s not an official holiday to celebrate in Ezra, it won’t stop Melody from painting eggs with Alice and Dimitri and hide them around the grounds. Wide as they are, she can hide them anywhere. Through access of her gates, each egg is deposited variously around the palace, and the day can be spent in fullness of the kids running around in search of them... and giving mom a breather for the day. 

       Thinking about evil Melody... falling victim to the Mark of Chaos that Cain placed on her way back when she was a child. 

       Leave it to a demon of Wrath to settle on a weapon as a Valentine's gift. Even still, there was enough amusement behind it that it'd risen her spirits highly from the dredges of politics and skirmished war. A drawn out hum holds Melody's vocals, leaning forwards some while hands swung back behind her and clasped together. A broadsword or a rapier...? Both were weapons that she knew and wielded. The rapier was swifter and sharper, but much more fragile than a longsword - something that may as well bend and crumble beneath such a thing. A longsword provided strength and dexterity, and for one such as her... durability. "Longsword." She confirms with a nod of her head, releasing her hands once she's approached him and swinging them up to his shoulders.        "As for an inscription..." She tilts her head at this, and clicks her tongue in realization and approval. "There are a few books of runes in my collection. Perhaps you can decide on some and have them inscribed? Though.. something poetic in your language would not go unnoticed, either. Something to carry with me when you are far on work..."

       A reaction like that... how does one act on that? Sure, he was sleepy, and now may have been the worst time to pass a flirt to him to incite something to celebrate the month, but with such a denial like that, how does one recover? But... with a breath, soon enough she recovers, shaking her head and smiling warmly down at the half-asleep demon. At the side of the bed, as once before, long, long ago, Melody repeats the age-old tradition and slips her hand over and rests it atop his head, combing fingers gently through his hair.         “It was a... ‘I’m happy that you’re in my life, darling’, kind.” She softly murmurs with that held smile. With a slow lean, she presses a kiss to his head, and slinks back down under the covers next to him. Throwing over the blanket, she wraps her arm around him, curls in against him, and breathes deeply.         “Another hour or two, while the kids are still asleep...”

       A bit of both! Who the partner is and their personality certainly plays a role in it, as well. While a queen who commands and leads externally, Melody is someone who tends to rather play to the wants and preferences of her partner in the privacy of the bedroom - someone who enjoys being told what to do and how to do it. Gentle and rough sex are both good to her, so long as it pleases her partner.
