🍼 Realistic Postpartum Recovery — BETA

The Sims 4 gives you the birth… and then acts like nothing happened. This mod fills in the fourth trimester, a moodlet-driven recovery that treats vaginal and C-section births differently, reacts to how you play, and lets your Sim's partner feel it too.

⚠️ BETA — BUG-TESTING PHASE. Stable and fully playable, but you'll be helping me test. If something looks off, grab Postpartum_Log.txt from your Mods folder and tell me. Or better excecptions log if you get any notifications or glitches. 💛

✨ What it does

🤰 Choose your delivery — a post-birth prompt for vaginal vs C-section; each has its own symptoms, and C-section heals slower.

🩹 A real timeline — ~1 week (adjustable); symptoms rotate over the fourth trimester (acute early, lingering late)

🏥 Off-lot check-up — pregnant sim actually leaves for the doctor (a proper, cancel-proof rabbit hole) and comes home cleared.

🚑 Complications — WooHooing before clearance risks bleeding, a setback, or infection. Meaningful, never deadly.

💧 Pelvic-floor leaks — laughing/exercising can cause a little "Oops…" leak

🍼 Take it easy — lifting a toddler/infant gives an "Overdid It" moodlet

❤️ The partner feels it — co-parent/spouse gets Worried, Running on Empty, and Proud, deepening to Worried Sick on complications, and Relieved & Proud when the pregnant sim is cleared.

Celebrity Status | Sims 4 Mod

Welcome to Celebrity Status, the newest Gameplay Mod to add an extra element to the Fame and Celebrity System.

With this mod, you will unlock a brand new phone app, a talent agency, new celebrity status' that align with each of the fame levels along with buffs, social interactions and more.

The Celebrity Status System introduces a fun new celebrity progression system which is managed by Ward Entertainment Group, allowing Sims to be assessed, upgraded and reassigned their celebrity status as their fame evolves.

Rather than just having the base game fame levels, this introduces a new status (reward trait) that is assigned to each Sim, helping them reach their next celebrity level and giving them more personality while doing it.

📱How it Works

Sims can access the new Celebrity Services app via their phone. It will show any celebrity levels at or below their current status (for example, a Sim who has reached B-Lister fame will see the option to Claim B-Lister Status).

Once selected, the Sim has applied for their official recognition of their celebrity status through Ward Entertainment Group. A notification will be sent confirming whether their application has been approved.

✨ Celebrity Status

If approved, the new celebrity status will be added to the Sim's Simology panel as a reward trait, and any previous status trait will be automatically removed to ensure only one active celebrity status is held at a time.

Each celebrity status provides gameplay benefits tailored to that level, including bonuses to entertainment and fame based skills, assistance with needs, increases to the speed of gaining fame and reputation, a brand new celebrity pie menu with unique social interactions, and buffs that assist Sims in progressing toward higher fame levels.

This update adds new textures, but it's not absolutely necessary to re-download. If you don't care about EA content, the old HQ mod files work just fine.

Why it took so long and future prospects:

Updating basegame files got more and more difficult with increasing file sizes, requiring several workarounds that eventually stopped working this time. To combat this, I updated S4PE and HQ texture converter (LINK).

I also provided tutorials for converting and maintaining HQ mod files here: LINK

General notes:

BG_HQ file names contain the date to allow better tracking of which version you have in your game. One older version is kept on googledrive just in case. Please download the newest version, which goes by 2026-07-17.

WW-users, be aware that WW skintones are separated and are to be placed in an overrides folder. See here: LINK. Any default replacement that would clash with HQ mod is advised to be placed in an overrides folder.

Hello, hello!

This month's set is finally here and I can finally reveal our mysterious collaborator: the one and only @valiasims! ❤️ It has been such an honor to collaborate with someone so incredibly talented and I couldn't be prouder of what we've created together.

If you've been following the WIPs, you'll already know that this collection is heavily inspired by the stunning Greek islands, especially Mykonos and Santorini. That's why you'll find beautiful shades of white and vibrant blue throughout the entire set, bringing the Mediterranean vibes straight into your sims' worlds.

Our goal was to give you everything you need to build the perfect beach nightclub. My part of the collection focuses on the music, lounge and entertainment areas, while Valia created an amazing selection of bar furniture and décor that elevates the set even more.

Without a doubt, my favorite item is the DJ booth! I managed to separate the DJ controller from the actual booth, allowing you to place it freely on almost any counter. I was so happy when I finally got it working! I also designed a custom table for it, but you can easily use it with other counters by creating an L-shaped layout. I would have loved to make it compatible with regular tables as well, but unfortunately the DJ animations made that impossible.

To complete the dance floor, we created a gorgeous led dance floor alongside a backdrop featuring a built-in stereo system, which also works surprisingly well as a headboard if you're feeling creative. 😉

The lounge area is packed with fun pieces too! One of my favorites is the surface-placeable fire pit, giving you even more flexibility when decorating your outdoor spaces. You'll also find matching coffee tables, side tables, stone seating and a fully customizable pergola to give your sims some much-needed shade from the bright Mediterranean sun.

There are so many little details throughout this collection that I could honestly talk about them for hours, but I'd much rather let you discover them yourself while building. I hope they inspire you to create your own dreamy vacation destinations!

To showcase the collection, @thesimsideofluca has also built a beautiful beach resort that I highly recommend checking out. It's the perfect place to see everything in action!
