Valiasims x Lukheya - Nixta
It's heeere! The Greece-inspired nightclub and party terrace set, Nixta (which means night in Greek), is finally finished!
And it's time to reveal my collab partner as well. For this collection, I teamed up with @lukheya (@thesimsideofluca), who started creating CC not too long ago and is an incredibly talented builder. We've been in touch for a while, and we thought it would be fun to create a collection together, this is the result! He also made a build with our set, you can check the video of it here!
Working on my first collaboration was such a great experience. It was so much fun to come up with ideas together and sending wips to each other to see how the collection is coming together. I really hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it!
The idea came from the fact that we're in the middle of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere, so we wanted to create something with a summery feel. We were both inspired by Greece and its beautiful signature blue, and that became the starting point for the whole collection.
As we kept brainstorming, the concept evolved into a nightclub-inspired build so we could create something a little different. I use the term nightclub loosely because it's really more of an outdoor party terrace, designed around a bar, a DJ area, and a lounge area where your Sims can spend their evenings on vacation.
My part of the collection focuses on the bar and lounge area, while Luca created an amazing selection of items for the DJ booth, more lounge furniture, a very exciting modular pergola, and plenty of other objects.

Sadly, I had to remove the snapping feature from the modular sofas because they didn't work properly without moveobjects enabled. However, I was able to add snapping to the modular shelving system instead!
The shelving comes in four different pieces, and the smaller end pieces automatically snap to the ends of the shelves. You don't even have to rotate them, they'll snap perfectly into place. This also means each end piece can be used on either side of the shelving.
Everything else is quite self-explanatory, so I won’t bore you with more rambling about chairs and side tables. :D
I'm really happy we made this set! It was such a fun and inspiring project to work on. As I mentioned in a previous WIP post, I might start a whole Greek-inspired collection because I found so much beautiful inspiration while researching for this set.
In the upcoming days, I'm going to post a poll here so you can help decide which collection you'd like to see me continue next: Charm’d, Sunwoven, or a brand-new Greece-inspired collection. I’m really curious to see what you’d like to see next!
