His eyes flicker down to the curve of your legs, glancing away in hopes you don’t notice.
“I don’t mind, really.” His grin is playful.
“I like the company too. As much as I hated to be inconvenienced by my apartment complex, I’m glad I get to stay here with you.”
His skin flushes a bit, his words sincere.

Her eyes meet his briefly before she looks away bashfully, her heart skipping a beat. She certainly wouldn’t mind a man cooking for her, but she didn’t want to give the impression that she wanted to take advantage of that.
“Well.. if you insist. But let me help a little bit, otherwise I’d feel bad.”
She chuckles as her directs her gaze back to Jean, her leg brushing against his on the couch.
He smiles warmly at you, cheeks flushed as he sits beside you on the couch. "Thanks for letting me crash here for a couple nights while my apartment is being fumigated." He runs his hand along the back of his neck, fingers dragging through his hair before sinking further into the cushion beside you. "I owe you one. Maybe you'll let me cook you dinner tomorrow as a thank you?" -Jean
She smiles at him as she shakes her head, waving a dismissive hand at his suggestion.
“It’s no problem at all! You don’t have to do that for me. Besides, I like the company.”
She curls her legs up into a comfortable position on the couch right beside him. Her cheeks were a soft pink as their proximity becomes more noticeable.

Honestly, I’m fine with pretty much anything as long as it doesn’t cross into triggering territory! I believe I have a post about what topics I don’t want to engage with! Tysm for asking <3

I’m well aware of their laws and customs. After my last trip there and … my previous stint being put on trial, I’ve learnt to be very careful. So no worrying about having to bail me.
Ahh.. I remember. From what I’ve heard it was quite the.. spectacle too. But too be fair, a little chaos in a world of order can’t hurt too badly right?

Fortunately work doesn’t take up too much of my time. The Scribe’s work is easy and allows for a reasonable amount of leisure time. I usually spend my time reading at home, but as of late I’ve been trying to get out more.
Pleased to hear you are getting out as well. I am glad you have been able to, as you put it, catch up with your friends. How was your day today?
