he was definitely bullied the first few years in his house for being a half-blood in Slytherin, but with the encouragement of his housemates- mainly Minghao, he finally stood up for himself with a degree of dominance and sharp-wittedness that nobody had expected of Seungkwan beforehand
always brings muggle stuff to Hogwarts each year and shows it off, and everybody thinks he’s super cool because of it
he definitely gets a little smug about it, because who doesn’t have their ego inflate a little bit after hearing compliment after compliment about how cool he and his muggle side of the family are
he’s also the guy that everybody goes to to get the easy answers to the muggle studies homework
if any of the teachers say that he’s wrong, he always just fires back like “well, as a half-blood, this is my experience, but i guess that experience is completely fake” and just feigns sadness
and then the teachers just sigh and give him credit for the homework because, well, he just ran a perfect circle around them and they can’t fault him for that
not really a rule-breaker, but he’s been caught after curfew with Seokmin and Soonyoung more than a few times
it was never for anything crazy, in fact it was mostly kitchen raids and exploring the castle when a majority of the population was quietly resting
he’s insanely good at wizard chess, another thing people don’t really expect from Seungkwan
he’s well known for his biting words and loud personality, many neglect to see the striking intellect Seungkwan has shown many times in the past
in his entire career at Hogwarts, he’s gone undefeated, and not at the attempt of many of his friends
rumour has it he even beat the headmaster himself at Wizard Chess, but Seungkwan always gets flushed at it whenever another student brings it up
he’s unsurprisingly the Quidditch announcer for the games
he wasn’t exactly the best at flying, but he enjoyed the sport and he knew he was perfect for the role
his boisterous personality and quick wit left the crowd in bouts of laughter and suspense every game
he cheers just as much for Ravenclaw as he does for his own house
he’s the mood-maker at the parties thrown in the house common room, often raising the excitement levels with drinks and food he managed to sneak in from Hogsmeade
tie that in with Muggle music and typical teenager games and the house is always roaring with laughter and the stories that result the next day are always certainly interesting
he’s been named “Hogwarts’ Cupid” for the amount of couples he’s gotten together
he’s always in on the drama due to his social ties reaching within all the other houses, so he claims that it shouldn’t be a surprise that he knows what’s going on with a lot of the students
with a bit of planning and information from Jun, he’s gotten at least 20 successful couples together each year he’s at the school
everybody’s always shocked to find out that he hasn’t been in a relationship yet himself, but he just laughs and says he’s too focused on everybody else, his ears heating up
