Tried painting a little more realistically and used a reference photo I found on Pinterest. She is such a beauty, reminds me of my character The Mothervale, hauntingly, dramatically beautiful.

Day 1 of my 30 day graphic design challenge. The fictional company was Bloomlabs, the task i gave myself was to make a mood-board with their text and a graphic i made myself.

I’ve always appreciated graffiti artwork and have dabbled into it on large canvases occasionally, but I wanted to combine it with my digital paintings. So I did, and it turned out interesting, not sure how much I like it but it’s always nice to try something new once in a while :P I had trouble choosing a word so I just went with “SOUL” to represent my passion for genuinity and inputting a little bit of yourself into whatever you do.

I often describe the night sky as dark velvet embedded with crystal stars, one thought led to another and I now have a painting of the sun sewing together the curtains of the sky.

To all creatives out there, whatever your age or level of skill, embrace your inner child and inject a sparkle of wonder in whatever you make, this is the power we wield, the ability to remind whoever sees our work that there is yet light in the world.

A poster i made :P I really wanted to try making something monochromatic, it's inspired by vintage media and the feeling of being drowned in social views and perspectives, i communicated this with the harsh contrast symbolizing the difference between what you, as an individual, desire, and what society expects of you. I made it a while back in canva.
