au where dess turned into the knight by taking the knight visor gaster left somewhere to find who the knight should be for his deltarune, probably because it looks sick as fuck and she totally rocks it, but the effects of it on her mind grow as she uses the powers, at first she uses them for silly things like trolling friends by flying through their windows and aggressively gaslighting them about it, or using the visors power to grab objects from afar, but she never tells anyone about it, she wants it to stay secret (because otherwise she can’t fuck with people) but also mostly because she wants to master its powers first so she can show the whole town her sick powers at their peak. but as she gains more control of her powers the visor gains more control of her simon petrikov style with an equally attractive person as the subject. eventually that manifests in her shutting off people who she loves and becoming obsessed with gaining power in secret, it gets so bad she runs away from home just to train in the forest alone, it’s like an addiction that she gets a rush from every time she gets more powerful. eventually, as their power starts to grow, the visor and dess’s face merge, and they can no longer see without giving into the visors commands. it grows like an infection across her skin covering and taking control of each part of her, until in the few moments she can remember she was trying to fight back, she is shrouded in the darkness of her own form, can’t move, and can’t remember anything about her life before she became this monster. the unused texts would be the her cries she broadcasts through the channel it uses to communicate with gaster, that’s why spamton is able to hear her.
