The Spideypool Big Bang is a yearly collaborative event meant to foster friendships and create more content for our favourite Merc with a Mouth and Spidey-Baby*. 

Writers will write, and Artists will art, and at the end, these heaven-made partnerships will unleash drool-worthy, Spideypool goodness that we all get to enjoy!

Sign-ups for Writers are open until 11:59 PST on September 16th

Sign-ups for Artists are open until 11:59 PST on October 4th

Sign-ups for Betas are open for the entire event

All information can be found on our tumblr and our brand new wiki page. If there’s anything not covered by the FAQ, or there’s something you’re unsure about, feel free to contact us at [email protected] or our Ask box. 

We are also trialling Twitter this year for announcements and reminders, so please follow us there as well!

Summary: 

The day Peter meets Deadpool is the worst day of his life.

After trying so hard to forget his presumably long-lost heartmate, Peter finally gives into the feelings he’s acquired for Wade, the one person who’s unintentionally helped him mend his broken heart.

Miscommunications lead to Peter thinking that Wade had found his heartmate while they were together, resulting in him spiralling into a self-destructive depression.

Hello everyone we hope you are all enjoying the holiday season.   We have exciting news for those who missed the sign ups for the Spideypool big bang 2018! Due to some unfortunate circumstances we potentially have a few writers left without an artist. Are you feeling an itch to draw?? Feeling festive and want to collaborate with our amazing writers??? WELL HERE’S YOUR CHANCE!!

As promos are coming up and the official posting starts February, we are looking for artists who would be able to keep up with the schedule. We are also willing to accommodate any new artists who sign up because we know it’s rather last minute and it is the holiday seasons. If you are absolutely unable to make some deadlines we can work it out and find a solution :) 

We ask that before signing up, make sure you read the rules and FAQ as those will still pertain to you. Our requirements for our artists are fairly lax and we only need one promotional banner for January and one full art piece for the masterpost, but again please do check over the schedule linked in our blog to get a sense of when everything is due. 

Now onto the important part: How do you sign up and how will it work? Essentially all you have to do is fill out this form with your name and email (we promise your email will not be shared to anyone but your potential partner) and once we have gathered the list of writer’s that need new partners, we’ll send out an email with all the story information. It will be first come first serve and if you are unable to claim a story for SPBB 2018 we would love for you to sign up for SPBB 2019. Reminder that you are not obligated to choose a story even if you sign up. Signing up gives you the opportunity to look over the stories and if one clicks with you then you can try to claim it. If not, you don’t have to. More details on the claiming process will be provided through email. We’ll set a date and time for it.
