Whumper chaining Whumpee up. Whumpee expects the worst, closing their eyes and bracing.
But Whumper just tenderly begins to measure around their neck.
Whumpee flinches at the contact. Eyes open. They feel so touch-starved that they lean into it, breathing shallow.
Whumper chuckles. “Desperate already?”
Whumpee glares, bites their tongue and pulls back.
“Ah—” whumper tsks, “not so fast, dove.”
Whumper grabs their chin and keeps them still. They take note of Whumpee’s measurement and pull the tape away. Then they move to their shoulders, measuring the width.
Whumpee gives them a confused look.
Whumper notices, hums. “Are you going to use your words?”
Whumper frowns. “Aren’t we chatty today?” Their eyes go dark. “Speak.”
Whumper slaps them across the cheek. Whumpee mewls. “Speak! I gave you an order.”
Whumpee’s eyes tear up. “Wh-what are you doing?” Their voice was hesitant, afraid.
Whumper nods, more satisfied. Their frown morphs back into their sick grin they get when they see Whumpee obey.
Whumpee bites their cheek, takes a breath. “Why?”
Whumper hums. “Do you want well fitting clothing or not?”
Whumpee looks down at the cloth bag they’d been wearing. It was like a hospital gown made from a bed sheet. “I…um…”
Whumper tilts their head. “Well?”
Whumpee swallows. “That would be nice.”
Whumper nods. “What do you say?”
Their hands circled Whumpee’s waist, pulling the tape around it. Their nose nearly touching Whumpee’s. Whumpee’s eyes were anywhere but on them.
Whumpee yelps, hiccuping. They look up at Whumper in fear.
“Look at me when I’m speaking to you, pet.” Whumper says, voice low. They nod when Whumpee holds their gaze. “Say, ‘yes, sir’.”
Whumpee bites their lip, a tear going down their cheek. “Yes.. sir…”
Whumper nods, their heart beating faster at the look in Whumpee’s eyes. Fear, like a cornered prey animal. It was exquisite. They run a finger down their captive’s cheek, collecting the tear and flicking it away.
“There you are, that’s much better. Look at me, just like that.” Whumper smiles. “Perfection.”
They withdraw the tape, then move to wrap it around one of Whumpee’s thighs. Bare beneath the bag. Whumpee closes their eyes at the contact.
“Pet,” Whumper hissed, “I said. Look. At. Me. If you can’t do THAT then surely there’s no sense in keeping you.”
Whumpee frowns. “So you’d… let me out?”
Whumper laughs. “No. I just wouldn’t keep you.”
“What does that mean?” Whumpee was confused.
Whumper measures the length of their leg, from their ankle to their groin. Whumpee flinches when their hands brush against them, but knew better than to mention it. Whumper had no interest in that part of them, it was just another part of Whumpee’s body. Another part Whumper owned.
That didn’t mean whumper treated them with dignity. It just meant whumper knew they were above that. They wouldn’t use their new pet that way, they didn’t deserve so much from whumper. It would be a privilege if whumper even considered it.
“It means, dove, that there would be no more sense in feeding you.” Whumper says quietly. That shut them up.
Whumper nods at the next measurement and takes note of it.
Whumper steps back, sliding the measuring tape into their pocket. They hum quietly.
“You will be good.” They say, almost to themself.
Whumper stays silent for a moment, eyes far away. “You’ll do fine. Satisfactory, even. If you just learn to listen.”
“What do you mean?” Whumpee asks, fidgeting their fingers against the restraints, not tugging, but tapping them nervously. Whumpee’s breath quickens. “I’ll do… fine? With what? What am I supposed to be doing?”
Whumper chuckles, eyes narrowing and focusing back on whumpee. “You’ll know in due time, dove.”
Whumpee goes silent. Whumper frowns. “Dove, it’s rude to not respond.”
Whumper scowls. “What do you say?”
Whumpee pauses, “o-oh. Yes.” They swallow. “Um, sir. I mean, yes sir.”
Whumper nods. “Good. For now.”
They turn their back on whumpee, leaving them chained up.
“W-wait—“ Whumpee stutters out.
Whumper casts a few words over their shoulder. “Be good and wait, dove. I’ll be back.”
“B-back? When? When will you be back?” Whumpee strains against their restraints, clawing at the chains and trying to follow.
Whumper chuckles. “Don’t worry, dove. I’m not cruel. It won’t be forever. Just long enough for you to learn to miss me.”
Whumpee goes pale when they reach for the light switch. “Don’t—“
The room is plunged into darkness, the light coming from the open door the only illumination. Whumpee can make out whumper’s silhouette against the doorway, throwing a shadow across the floor.
They pull the door shut, leaving them in complete darkness.
