While looking at pictures of newborn lynx-point kittens, I was reminded that they are born completely white and slowly gain their colors with exposure to the lower temperatures of the outside world. I ended up headcanoning that baby Roark had white fur for the first few of weeks of his life, and so I drew him here just as his nose and ears are beginning to turn gray and brown. 🐱

One of the characters had a completely different name.

I used a WHOLE OTHER name for a side character in the first couple of chapters, before abruptly switiching to refer to him as something else later on and just stuck with that.

Now my readers know him as the new name.

Here's the edits I did as well
