Not the Couch!

“Who’s asking?”  he asked, looking back up at the femme, taking another step back, shoulders tense.

“Function over form. Many of Cybertronian’s Senators preferred useless, but aesthetically pleasing alternate modes. Their most popular choices included a decorative chair and a beverage cart.”

“You are too young to have been alive when some of these vehicles were in style.”

Dylan rolled his eyes, smiling.  “But that doesn’t mean I don’t admire their beauty, their sleek form and vintage look...just because something is old doesn’t make it any less beautiful.  Every car in this garage is a work of art.”

“I thought humans ceased their fascination with shining objects before the end of their first decade.”

The man smiled, smug as he sighed and looked around the massive garage at the rows of antique cars.
