Okay I told myself I would end the rant post there but you know what? No. Thor went back in time and he got emotional over seeing both Jane and his mother, completely reasonable (even though it is also played for a joke, like haha look at this loser who’s sad about his dead mom, wtf Marvel?) and yet, after Loki willingly decided to die for Thor, Thor walked by Loki in his cell without even looking up at him? You’re telling me he got emotional over seeing his ex who he only saw every so often when he happened to be on Earth, but he walked past the brother he was raised side by side with for thousands of years without even a second glance? The brother whose last words were to try to reassure Thor and reaffirm their bond as brothers? The brother who Thor knew was going to die as soon as he saw the knife but couldn’t move to stop him? The brother he watched die, and he wasn’t even able to scream because he was tied down and gagged? The brother who Thor just crawled over to and held his body, waiting to die in the collapsing ship?
