Isn't it strange that Rapunzel never has a conversation with any of the little girls who braid her hair. This is the first time she has ever got to interact with another girl and she's just like "cool, a braid." She's not presented as shy, when she met a bunch of men in a bar, she sang and danced with them.
Tangled, I love you, but you just barely pass the Bechdel test. If not for villainous mother Gothel, Rapunzel would have spent the entire movie only conversing with men. At the very least she could have had a conversation with her birth mother... but no.
That's cool. Sit, staring off into the distance, being so adorable. This important scene of character development for you, will be filmed through your love interests perspective.
