not in a self deprecating way; we’re all disconnected by a faceless barrier.

but lately I’ve felt so alone. i really, really need someone to realize how autistic, how special, how frightened, how sweet, i really am.

i don’t always want to be communicative. sometimes i just want to cry. i never really got “good parents”. i was always “too much”. i got hit, but not as bad as everyone else, so I can’t complain much. i lay awake at night thinking hopelessly about being cradled and loved unconditionally.

all i really want is to be held like a baby while i cry; finally allowed to make a sound. all while someone i could trust would stroke my hair, make soft sounds and love me just the same afterwards. is that selfish? i think i extend that courtesy to everyone else. could i have that too, maybe?

i want my interests to be seen as endearing; i want to be loved. i don’t want to feel hopeless in trying to justify why i still need a stuffy to sleep, or why i want a babyteether to chew on when im sad, or why i wish to suck on a pacifier. i wish i could just be… me, you know?

i really wish i could have that. to regress into my most vulnerable state and not forced to be the adult i was forced to be from day one. i wish I could be sensitive and scared and have someone approach me from that angle.

life isn’t supposed to be this hard; or so im told. so why is it?

jayce who makes baby viktor bottles of milk and holds him as he suckles on it sleepily, and eventually conks out in his papa’s arms, safe and warm and so loved for who he is.

baby regressor viktor who bites his crinkle toys and kicks his good leg and babbles and screams and laughs deeply, and joyously because this is now his life, an option of warmth and security and happiness. because jayce helped him reach it. and it’s so worth it!

🤖 sorry this took so long! i loved doing this one ♡⸜(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)⸝♡

* the herald loves to make toys for his little, always tinkering in the lab to make a new surprise for you.

* when he does his work, he lets you sit in his lap and listen to soft mechanical whirr of his body. it lulls you to sleep! 💤

* he lets you stim and run your hands across the ridged metal of his augments. he knows you need it to be soothed!

* the herald always makes sure to stock up on sweetmilk (his favourite) to share with you when you’re feeling little, and he always makes sure to put it in a bottle to help lull you into little space.

I need to be clear that I use a cane. I am disabled and have chronic back pain - which is why I write specifically about little Viktor. I relate deeply to his character & it means a lot to me, as I age regress myself.

babyreg viktor who snuggles his face against the soft fuzzy blankies and love love loooves to be doted on. he puts everything in his mouth and enjoys rubbing his hands on the soft, textured fur of his stuffed toys and teddy bears.

he likes babbling formations of words like "baaabaaa baa" just because he likes the way the noises feel in his mouth.
