BACK UP STAY AWAY 𓇢𓆸

After a long break and indecisive decisions on social media about shifting, many trials and errors, I forgotten how much of a private person I actually am.

Posting constantly about my drs and stuff didn't help at all, I didn't like that others would know about some things about me. Especially because it will eventually lead to me worrying about what others think of me and people I know of? I don't need that energy at all in my space and journey, it's something personal. People share too much stuff on social media, that I didn't think that it'll affect the shifting journey too.

It also led me to think that maybe many others in the community are in the same position, or at least something similar. Hot take honestly: I think SOME shifters only like the concept of it, and would only focus so much edits, face claims, scene matching etc for the views and stuff, it's more prioritizing on what others think rather than how they see or personally feel and thoughts on their drs. I've been there, done that, and it has made me disconnect myself from drs.

I don't know where this is going but I guess this is an advice to some who need it: Not everyone needs to know about your life(s), if it helps then good for you and keep doing it. But for those who feel like nothing is going anywhere for sharing so much and making contents, maybe that's a sign of that kind of lifestyle (?) isn't for you, keeping things a little private doesn't hurt anyone and trust me that fame and views is not worth it if you constantly feel the need to share things about yourself. You are not obligated to let others know of your privacy, your vulnerability and some things that are precious to you. That boundary can be the very thing that helps you move on to the next road, there is no point in forcing it. It's going to be hard not to, as some of you may have gotten so used to this, but you'll get there eventually. I learned a lot from the errors I've made. Reflect on who you feel more comfortable to share your personal stuff with, friends, social circles, family etc. The right people you share with can help you nurture it honestly.

I think I now understand why a lot of shifters have not been doing storytimes honestly, it's probably because they want that privacy. That gatekeeping feeling is something I precisely treasure it.
