It was just a regular Sunday morning—or so you thought. You woke up to the smell of freshly fried eggs. The sun was shining brightly through the curtains. You squinted your eyes from the bright sun. For a minute you just laid there debating if you wanted to get out of bed or not. Once you decided you slowly got out of bed, leaving it a mess.

You walked to the kitchen only to be greeted by shirtless Rukia cooking breakfast. The sun shined on him, leaving a soft glow on his smooth skin. He looked like an angel in the lighting. You walked over to him, wrapping your arms around his waist. Rukia was startled from the sudden hug since he didn’t notice you walked into the kitchen.

Rukia turned around to kiss your cheek. “Good morning, princess. How’d you sleep?”

“I slept good, but it could’ve been better.” You let go of Rukia and walked over to the table. “How much longer until breakfast?”

“Done.” Rukia walked over to you with your plate and sat it in front of you. He kissed the top of your head and sat down across from you. Suddenly the door flung open. It was Sena.

“Guys! Check the Rukia fanpage right now!” You and Rukia looked at each other confused at first but soon slowly pulled out your phones to check. Once you opened your phones your guys eyes widened.

“No…” Rukia said in disbelief. You slowly shook your head. It was a picture of you guys at the cafe yesterday after you guys had just gone on a little shopping spree. Rukia got up from his seat and walked to the room. The house was silent for a moment before Sena spoke up.

“I told you guys that you should’ve been more careful.” He shrugged and walked out. You sat there frozen. Terrified of losing Rukia. You walked to the room, slowly opening the door. Rukia was sitting at the edge of the bed, head in his hands.

“Are you okay? I know this might be a lot for you right now.” You walked over to him, hovering above him. “Is there anything I can do to fix this.”

Rukia sighed. “There’s no point. The public already knows about us.” Rukia looked up at you. He could tell you were just as upset as he was. Rukia pulled you close to him.

“Please don’t leave” You broke down in his arms.

Rukia let out a soft chuckle. “Why would I do?”

You froze. “What?”

Rukia chuckled to himself. “Why would I leave you over this. The public was gonna find out one way or another.”

Embarrassment filled your face. Rukia chuckled and pulled you closer, kissing your forehead.

“Let’s tell the public this afternoon after practice.”

Later that afternoon

After practice you and Rukia were on the couch cuddling before you remembered what Rukia said.

“When are we gonna tell the public?”

Rukia turned and looked at you confused. “What do you mean?”

You looked at him like he was dumb. “When are we gonna tell the public about us?”

Rukia chuckled to himself. “I already did. Maybe if you checked your phone more often you would know.”

You immediately checked your phone to see many instagram notifications. You looked at Rukia—who had a huge grin on his face, per usual.

“You’re welcome, my love.” Rukia pulled you in for a kiss.

𝑵𝑶 𝑼𝑺𝑬 𝑶𝑭 𝑨𝑰

The aquarium doors slid open with a soft hiss. You two walk hand in hand. Blue light from the giant tanks rippled across the floor and walls, making everything feel a little quieter, a little dreamlike. But before you could focus on the glowing jellyfish or the slow glide of stingrays overhead, something else caught your attention—Leehan. The moment he spotted the first massive tank, his eyes lit up completely, bright and wide. He let go of your hand and ran to the fish tank, completely forgetting you.

You chuckled to yourself as you watched him smile ear to ear. Leehan pointed to every fish he saw, naming them all and facts about them. “That one is a pacu. They’re related to piranhas. Oh! This one is my favorite, it’s a corydoras. They are a very peaceful fish. They’re known as social, schooling fish.” He talked in a very cushiony tone as he spoke about the fish. You walked over to Leehan, grabbing both his hands in yours. You smiled at him gently, “I didn’t know you liked fish so much.” Leehan became flustered. He rubbed his neck slightly. “Yea, I guess.” You leaned in a gave him a peck on the cheek. “I think it’s cool that you know a lot about fish.”

“You’re making me flustered, my love.” Leehan tried to cover his face with his hands. You giggled to yourself. He’s too cute. You grabbed his hands and moved them from his face, moving them to yours. You guys sat in silence for a moment. Everything around you going blank. It felt as if it was just you two. Leehan leaned in closely. His lips hovering over yours. “May I?” You nodded and before you knew it his lips crashed against yours. His hands reached the back of your head pulling you closer. After a long moment of you kissing, he pulls away—a string of drool between your guys’ lips. “I love you, y/n.”
