PART 2: This was the final project for my Digital Drawing class. It was a collection of drawings met to be shown as a series. I decided to draw Steve Jobs with a big eye and the Apple logo inside the eye as a way to show his contribution and vision on technology. I drew this with a Wacom tablet and the Corel Painter 12 software.

PART 1: This was the final project for my Digital Drawing class. It was a collection of drawings met to be shown as a series. I decided to draw Bill Gates with a big eye and the Microsoft logo inside the eye as a way to show his contribution and vision on technology. The above pictures is on an assignment I had to complete for my Digital Drawing class. The title of the project was Animal hatch. The directions were simple, we had to choose an image of any animal on Google and then draw it on a Wacom tablet using the software Corel Painter 12.
How to Finance a Movie
In this production, I worked diligently with my group members Michael Kelly and Dashawn Morgan to shoot a video on how to finance a movie. Through team work and skills obtained in our Communication courses we were able to successfully write a good script, produce, and edit with Avid Media Composer.

This production was directed by my fellow classmate, A.J. Boornazian, which I played the role of Matthew McConaughey. I definitely had a great time being a talent of a successful directing.
Rush Hour 2-Directing
I was able to direct a few scenes from Rush Hour 2, which features two of my fellow classmates: Jaimee Millán and Hayley Tuffy. This was the first time I had ever directed and called the shots. However, I would have not made it through without the support of my crew and the help of my professor, Dr. Michael Grabowski.
Division I Manhattan College Soccer Men Team
In this video, I worked together with Dashawn Morgan and Michael Kelly in order to shoot a promotional video of the Division I Soccer Men team at Manhattan College. Three main elements that we focused on was team bonding, academics, and practice. We tried to demonstrate these elements in this one minute PSA (Public Service Announcement). During our shoot, I was mainly the camera operator who took footage of their practice in the field and a few players studying together.

First Image
The only subject on the image was Josh. The focus on the image was to show a silly pose of Josh on top of an ice that was almost 3 to 4 feet from the ground. Through composition, angle of view, light and contrast I was able to highlight my subject. For example, through the composition, the viewers only see part of a building, part of the background and Josh in the center. On the other hand, through contrast and light, Josh stands out such as the contrast on his jeans and sneakers. Although the light is not as bright, especially on his face due to not wanting to over expose him, there is still some shadow and visible facial features. Lastly, the angle of view was excellent because I was able to blur everything on the image except Josh and part of the gym’s building. Although the background is totally blurred out, I did not lose much detail from the branches of the trees. Also, darkening his skin tone and hair allowed for more details to stand out, which was a plus. The subject was depicted positively because he was grabbing onto the building as he smirked straight to the camera. I wanted Josh to make a pose and show himself in a funny way, thus this was conveyed in the image.
Second Image
The subjects are my two friends, Josh who was in the foreground and Chris who was in the middle ground. The focus of the image was to demonstrate the strong connection and relationship between two friends of the same sex. Through the use of composition, angle of view, and light this image helped highlight my two subjects. For example, the composition of the image allowed for the viewers to see both the subjects facing each other. I did not show as much of the location because that was not my focus. On the other hand, the angle of view created this nice blur effect by only showing Josh in the foreground and blurring out completely Chris in the middle ground and background. However, blurring out my second subject did not hurt the image, so it was a positive use of technique. Lastly, light was a major technique used in the image contributing to the message I am trying to convey to the audience. Due to the light spotting only on Josh makes the image more unique and appealing to the eyes. Although both subjects are depicted with their fist up in the air with a pose about to fight, that was not what I was trying to convey to the audience. As they make their pose like a boxing fighter, they are depicted positively and this was shown with their facial expression. For example, although Josh’s face is not as visible as Chris, you can tell that he has somewhat of a smirk. On the other hand, although Chris is completely blurred out, his facial expression does not show seriousness, but almost a semi-smile. I want both of my subjects to look at each other while not being too serious or too silly. I wanted a neutral, friendly expression that demonstrated a type of bromance between Chris and Josh.
In this assignment I had to use a variety of media sources such as YouTube videos that would juxtaposed to subvert, deconstruct, and critique our culture and our society. There must be a point made in the video by re-editing and retelling the story. I compiled different clips of from YouTube depicting racism and racist individuals. The subjects consist of both genders. The focus of the video is to confirm and prove that racism still exist in today’s society. I only used clips from YouTube as my main media sources because I found them helpful in conveying my message across the viewers. The different clips I used shows different types of people saying the word N##r multiple times, mocking a Muslim, statements as in “I don’t like black people,” etc,. The response I want to illicit from the viewers is awareness. I want to bring awareness to the people of the community that racism is wrong and it should not be tolerated. By showing these clips, it will hopefully make people realized that calling an African America or black complexion individual N##r, mocking a Muslim or Asian person is wrong and ignorant. It is disrespectful being the other person and getting treated so disgustingly by a stranger. There is nothing to interpret in the video as is straightforward and confirming how racist the people in America can be to others. There are not any associations that I want the video to trigger, just bringing a call to action for the end of racism and racist individuals that exist in today’s society.
These are all visual lie pictures that were assigned to me in my photography class. Each of these images I took with my camera. The third image is a collage of images I took from the Internet and compiled them into one canvas through photoshop.
First image
The focus of the image is putting together a photo of the same subject multiple times from a fixed vantage point of a scene that is a controlled environment. As the image demonstrates, Alexa is posing five different times, in five different spots near the rock at the Botanical Garden. Although there is no message in this visual lie # 1, the visual does manipulate the content of the image and that is using one subject multiple times in one confine location. The image does not convey a message, but does show the repetition of a subject while the camera is at a fixed location.
Second image
The focus of the image was putting together a photo of multiple subjects from a “fixed vantage point of a scene that is a un-controlled environment where the people or objects are not in your control and are moving without your direction.” In the image, I placed the camera and pressed the shutter button trying to capture and observe what the people were doing and looking at as they walked past the orchids in the Botanical Garden. The visual manipulation that I am using helped me convey my message by adding as many subjects in the image with the brush tool. Although I really do not have a specific message that I am trying to tell to the viewers, using the brush tool to include more people in the picture was very useful.
Third image
The focus of the images was to emphasize the victims who have died due to racial discrimination. My main message is racism and discrimination still remains present in today’s society. Through the visual manipulation, I am able to convey my message by quoting last words mentioned by Eric Garner, “I can’t breathe.” By bringing awareness of this statement it demonstrates the devastation and unfairness caused by the authority. Another way I visually manipulated this collage in order to convey my message is the handshake by two men.
This is my 1st composite I ever did of my fraternity, DKE. I have since then improved. I used photoshop in order to compile all the images and text.

I am just your average YouTuber who wants to entertain the community. I produce and direct a variety of videos in hope of finding my niche. I shoot from tips to tech reviews. I recently ended my first series, Jessie and Johnny: The Love Story about a young girl named Jessie who has the biggest crush on a boy named Johnny. Jessie is so nervous that she reaches out to Mikey for advice. As their relationship develops so does her love for Johnny. This is a catalog I created in my Digital Print Design class by using Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I created the logo with Illustrator and tweaked it with Photoshop. I edited every image with Photoshop and I used Illustrator for the layout, font, typing, etc. This catalog was based on creating a company about anything and making products that my company would sell to the public. My company is called Bass Sick0nic and it mainly sells top of the line headphones.
