      LUCY FLINCHED, glancing over at the Death Eaters that were approaching. “Can’t this just end??”

               Greta slinked around Lucy idly, laughter bubbling from her lips. “ Oh, stop moaning, for fuck’s sake. Obviously you know some of your friends are on that CHEESY ARMY OF CHILDREN, so why don’t you give me some names and I won’t Imperius you into, I dunno’,  s t a b b i n g  your mates?? ”

      LUCY WANTED TO POINT OUT that the Death Eater in front of her was technically part of a cheesy army of children herself, as she so eloquently put it, but the following threat froze her limbs. Wide-eyed, she simply stared at her, but it was hard to get a read on how serious she was when the Death Eater mask hid all facial expressions. “You wouldn’t.” Lucy said, though the words sounded weak even in her ears. She only knew of a few of her family members being in the D.A., and though they would likely already be suspected because of their family ties, there was no way that Lucy could actually hand their names over. Even more tears welling up, Lucy let out a sob, burying her face in her hands. “God, you’re all so fucked up. Why didn’t I just go to Beauxbatons?? I could have been flirting with cute French boys now, instead of this.”

“You’re a Weasley,” With the mask hiding her identity, Isla spat the word with as much venom as she could—–hatred that she’d had to hide for years finally coming to the surface. “And everyone knows Weasleys are nothing but blood traitors—-I don’t like being LIED to.” A flick of her wand and a certain unforgivable cast from her lips, she was sure, would loosen the girl’s tongue.

      LUCY OPENED HER MOUTH TO ARGUE, but before she could even get a word out, her whole body felt like it was lit on fire. A gasp escaped, followed quickly by a blood-curling scream as her body writhed on the ground. Lucy had always thought that a paper cut was terribly painful, but this --- this was worse than anything she could have ever imagined. If it wasn't for the pain in every part of her body, consistent, unceasing, impossible to ignore, she wouldn't have been sure that she was still alive.  “Stop,” she gasped, throat raw from screaming, her sobs from earlier returning with full force as she tried to look up at the Death Eater torturing her. "P-please stop."

      “Whatever, the song could LITERALLY be a hymn to Snape and I’d still dance to it if it had this beat.”

“Erm…A little H E L P? Someone convinced me to try a keg stand and now I look like an idiot. I think I’m stuck.”

      “OH, I don’t know, Al, this is a PRETTY PRICELESS sight. I might just let this go on a little bit longer,” she teased.

      “RIGHT, well, I believe you, Lil, I totally do... but maybe we should keep murder off the table?? We are both too beautiful to go to prison.”

“You would look tragic in a coffin right now. Not the way to go.” Valeria smiled, holding out the glasses she’s conjured, “Of course, these aren’t for water, honey. Let’s have a toast, to better hair days and probably not dying.”

      “Mhm, and I feel like the whole point of having an open-casket funeral is so that everyone can admire my beauty one last time and be reminded of what a TRAGEDY it is that I am no longer in the world. That would all fail if I went out looking the way I do now.” Lucy began to pour the firewhiskey, before putting the bottle away and accepting one of the glasses. “I’ll cheer to that,” she grinned, clinking their glasses together. “Oh, and to a year filled with attractive people & good sex.”

      "Good, if I was gonna die I would need to have a MUCH better hair day than this. Firewhiskey??" she offered, holding out her bottle.
